According to Cisco, Alex was allowed to join them on their trip to the amusement park but she wasn't allowed to get hit by Gray. From the hit that she had already taken earlier that day, another punch would only result in her insides becoming outside. Jesse and Barry both backed him up in his allocation.

He had also gotten some dwarf star alloy that was used to protect Ray's ATOM suit to cover the chest potion of Barry's suit. That meant that he was only able to take one hit from Griffin as well or they would both suffer the same fate. So, they both wore their suits and hoped that neither of them would get hit by the meta.

It was creepy, walking around the amusement park at night especially after being abandoned. Alex could swear that she recognized the place and that her and her little brother would go there when they were children. Their parents would take them there as a treat when all of them were feeling down.

Alex smiled as she looked over at one of the rides. All she could picture was her brother's grin as they spun around so fast that they thought they would throw up. Dylan loved the feeling of the movement and wanted to go on the same ride over and over. Although Alex never enjoyed it, she would always go on with him just to make him happy.

"Why is it that bad guys insist on having the creepiest hideouts?" Cisco cut off the memory she was thinking of. He and Joe joined the two on their quest to retrieve Wells. Although Alex was sure that she would be able to stop him on her own, after the last encounter they made sure that she was going to at least have back up.

She didn't like the idea of putting them all at risk. Even if she didn't heal like she had before, she still had the power to get her out of some situations. They were stuck with nothing but the weapons they held in their hands and the wit of their minds. Sometimes, those weren't quite enough to stop a meta.

"Because their crazy," Joe answered Cisco. They stalked through the grounds until Iris notified them from her security videos in the van that their meta was on their way towards them. Alex took the lead in front of everyone and led them to meet him a better location. They were too exposed where they were walking.

On Alex's count, Iris lit up the lights of the ferris wheel beside them. It phased Griffin enough that both her and Barry were able to dive in and throw punches. Without their speed they were not nearly strong enough to affect him. Alex was able to hit him pretty well with the help of others she had taken from, but Barry's fists did nothing but human damage.

Barry wasn't the strongest to begin with, his powers had amplified his strength but he was nowhere near strong enough to take down a meta like Griffin. Alex only angered him, she couldn't punch nearly as hard as she wanted to due to her ribs. She groaned in pain at all the movements.

"We just want Wells," Barry shouted.

"And I wanted him to fix me, but he can't" Griffin threw his arms up, frustrated that Wells was unable to cure him from the particle accelerator that he didn't create. "Once I finish you two, I'm gonna finish him." Joe and Cisco stepped out of the shadows and raised their guns at the meta. It only angered him and he threw one of the cars from a ride right at them.
