I groaned as I turned over in my bed, feeling that Louis was gone by the time the sun had risen.

"Morning, Clem." AJ smiled at me.

"Morning buddy." I smiled back, sitting up and stretching my back.

"Clem..." AJ hesitated. "What... What if the raiders come back? I had a dream where they came back and took us all and killed you."

"Well, then, we're going to have to kick their sorry asses back to their sad little community, won't we?" I replied with a small chuckle.

"Yeah, but what if-" he protested before I cut his sentence off.

"AJ, they are not coming back. If they do, they will turn right around and go back to where they came from." I assertively assure him.

"Okay Clem..." he huffed as he realized his protests weren't worth it.

"How about, we have a me and you day?" I asked as a small smirk grew on my face.

He lit up like a Christmas tree and started throwing his clothing on, jumping around the room in such excitement.

"What do you want to do first?" I asked with a laugh as he almost fell over.

"Well, it's kinda warm outside so maybe we can do swimming in the river? We probably smell bad too since the boat and could probably use a bath by now." He suggested.

"Sure. Let's get ready and then go tell everyone where we'll be." I smiled as we both got up, I got dressed as AJ impatiently waited for me, and then we headed out to find Violet and Louis to inform them of our plans.

"Hey Vi." I spoke, walking up towards her who was finishing a conversation with Ruby.

"Hey Clem, what's up?" She asked with a neat smile.

"AJ and I are going to take a dip in the stream near the shed. We're having a me and him day and he said she wanted to go swimming. Is that alright?" I asked.

"Just try to keep close to each other and stay safe. Other than that, I'm fine with you guys going. Do you want Omar to go with or Ruby or something?" She replied with a happy, calm tone.

"Nah, we'll be fine. AJ and I have taken on herds of walkers before so I'm sure we can take out one or two if they cross us. Thanks though." We said our quick goodbyes and promised to be back in a little while.

After leaving Violet and saying goodbye to everyone sitting at the tables for breakfast, we had to find Louis to fill him in and then we could finally go and have fun in the stream together.

We found Louis and Aasim; Louis was angrily signing to Aasim and Aasim was just standing there with his arms crossed, trying to argue with Louis.

"Heyyy." I drug out, glaring at Aasim.

"Hi." Louis signed and crossed his arms over his chest, looking away from me in anger and frustration.

I wrapped my arms around his, pushed myself onto my tiptoes, and squeezed tightly for a quick hug before lowering myself back to the ground and pulling him with me, cupping my hands around his ear and whispering a little secret to him, making sure nobody could hear except him.

He immediately blushed and let out a short cackle before kissing me on the cheek.

"He's a bitch." He signed to me, motioning his eyes over his shoulder, referring to Aasim.

"I don't want to learn fucking sign language just because Louis can't speak." He defended himself after watching me snicker at Louis' comment.

I looked back at Louis, straightened my hand and brought it up to my opposite cheek; "bitch" in ASL.
