Chapter Fifteen: Clem's Promise (Louis' POV)

"Lou, wake up." I heard Clem's soft voice whisper as she lightly shook me.

As I opened my eyes slowly, I saw AJ'a dark eyes so close to mine that they could've been touching.

My body automatically jumped right up as it scared me while Aj ran around the room cackling and laughing at me.

I gave Clem and angry look as she laughed with Aj.

I shook my head, crossed my arms, got up, and walked out.

"Louis! Louis wait! We didnt mean it!" I heard her shout behind me as I angrily stormed down the halls towards my piano room.

I slammed the door and locked it as soon as I got in and a few seconds after, I heard two pairs of hands knocking with both of their voices.

"Louis, we didn't mean to hurt your feelings!" Aj shouted.

"Louis please open the door! We promise not to do that again! We thought you would laugh! We're really sorry!" Clem screamed through the door.

I banged my hand against the door once and walked over to the sad piano and started to play.

I heard their faint voices talking and then one pair of feet walk away. Then I stopped playing to listen closely for a second, hearing Clementine's soft breathing before I began to tap lightly on the chords to her song.

The keys started getting jumbled up with my fingers a bit, but I didn't stop. I listened closely to her reaction, and she was softly humming the tune of the song I created for her.

"Louis. I'm sorry." She spoke softly when the song was finished.

I dragged my body off of the piano bench and forced my feet to carry me to the door where I unlocked it and slowly opened it.

Clementine was just sitting there against the door but fell when I opened it as her face looked up at me from my boots. Her eyes smiled sweetly but her mouth remained a monotone expression.

"You falling for me again?" I signed.

"Always a new way everyday." She smirked which made me blush really hard. Maybe I wasn't as bad as I thought.

"I love my song." She smiled snarkily as I pulled her light body off of the ground, "Are you hungry?"

I nodded my head vigorously as I was practically starving.

We walked outside and I immediately made eye contact with Aasim. I knew we had to talk again sometime and honestly, I really wanted to try to be friends again. I felt new and I was finally ready to try and mend my relationship with one of my close friends. So after we got our food, I motioned to Clementine to sit with Aasim, who was sitting alone at the time.

"Hi." I waved as he looked at the two of us sitting down across from him.

"Why are you sitting here?" He asked in a very moody voice.

"Louis wanted to talk to you." Clem responded not realizing what she said until she said it.

"How the fuck is he supposed to talk? Lilly cut out his tounge." He snapped.

"Don't start your shit this early. You know what I meant." Clem clapped back at him.

"I wanted to try to make up. We used to be friends and now all of a sudden you hate me. I just want to be friends again. I don't want bad blood." I signed as Clem translated.

"Okay." he spoke, not giving me anything to work with.

"Why do you always say mean things about us." I asked.
