Adrian's POV

I was laying in bed watching TV in my room waiting to go to sleep when my laptop started to ring. I rolled over to see who it was. I saw it was Mason and jumped off my bed. I turned my lamp on and took my hair out of its bun. I grabbed my lip gloss and put some on then answered. "Hey." I smiled.

"Hey, did I wake you up." He smiled laying in his bed.

"No, not at all what's up?" I smiled.

"Oh just watching TV how about you?"

"Same, I was about to go downstairs to get some gelato. I'm taking you with me." I got out of bed and grabbed my laptop. "Where's your brother?" I asked heading to the kitchen

"He and Zariah went to the movies tonight." He laughed.

"No way!" I set my laptop on the counter.

"Woah, nice kitchen." He sat up in his bed while I went in the fridge to the gelato.

"Thanks." I smiled and got the tub out and a spoon.

"You're just going to eat it out of the tub?" He laughed at me.

"It's mine, it has my name on it. Roman literally got me my own tub because I went in his and he had a fit. Something about Janae only making it once a month and I was cutting into his allowance. The gelato maker is here, but only she knows the recipe."

"Janae is your dad's wife yeah?"

"Yup." I smile and sat on the counter.

"Cool, I was going to invite you to the movies, but I didn't know if you had plans. My brother also said he didn't want me to come." He shook his head.

"Well Zariah didn't bring it up either, so I guess she didn't want me to come either. I've been at home all day just hanging out. You could have come over." I looked at him.

"What are you doing tomorrow?" He asked.

"Nothing."

"DO you want to..."

"Teenager, butt off my counter. That better be yours." Roman walked in the kitchen. "Why is your hair down. My sweet girl turns into my sweet boy after 10." He laughed.

"Roman!" I gasped. "I am on face time."

"It's just Kendra. She knows what you look like going to bed. Once again, butt off counter. I expect you to wipe it down too." I rolled my eyes and hopped off.

"Anyway what were you saying?" I glared at Roman.

"Do you want to like hang out?" He blushed.

"Yeah, I uh would love to. DO you want to come over?" I saw Roman freeze.

"Yeah, let me ask to make sure it's okay with my Aunt. I will be right back Adrian, don't hang up."

"Okay." I smiled.

"Who is that? That is not Kendra." Roman looked stunned.

"It is not." I looked up smiling. "Can Mason come over?"

"Don't you want to hang out with Kendra, Zariah, or War. Yeah, War hasn't been here in a while." Roman seemed lost.

"He's on vacation." I shrugged.

"Hey my Aunt said yeah as long as it's cool with your dad." I smiled and looked up at Roman.

"Yeah, that's fine." Roman mumbled.
