Adrian's POV
It was the day before homecoming and I was sitting at my Nonno's house. Zariah and I were just hanging out here since we both got out. Ever since Sunday things had become kind of weird. Janae wasn't acting like herself. Roman had sat me down yesterday and said that she was diagnosed with postpartum depression, so she might not be herself for a while. I leaned that the three guys I met were Keegan, Ignacio, and Junior. Junior was the one that gave me a wad of cash after messing with me. There had been family popping up more and more. Nonna came and flopped on the couch by me. "What brings my beautiful granddaughter by? No teenagers want to spend time with their grandma." She teased.
"Nonna, don't start. We were actually just hanging out. Your son's are working like crazy and we know Nonna isn't here. We don't want you to be alone." Zariah smiled.
"Yeah, hey do you listen to our podcast?" I asked.
"Yes because Nonna supports her babies." She smiled.
"Do you want to do this week's with us? We have to record tonight because my homecoming is tomorrow." I added.
"Sure, what's it about?" She asked.
"We have no clue; we can just talk about anything for an hour." Zariah smiled.
"Alright, let's get food first, booties in the car in 5." We all headed out and grabbed some food. We took it to go and went to our house. I walked into the house and went straight to his office. He was sitting there with several men, some I have met before and some I hadn't. "Hi, Nonna and Zariah are here. We're recording tonight." I smiled.
"You do that on Saturday's." He looked at me confused. "You never gave me the run down for this week."
"Remember I have practice in the morning and homecoming tomorrow night?" I questioned. I walked to his desk and pulled the piece of paper from under some stuff I had put there earlier this week. "I gave it to you the day before last."
"Sorry honey, you said my mom's here?" He asked.
"Yeah, she's doing it with us." I nodded.
"Mom, I've explained the terms and conditions before right?" He yelled.
"Yeah, I got it!" She shouted back.
"Are you still taking me to mom's place after?" I asked.
"Of course, I will be done by the time you guys are." He smiled at me.
"What's up with the scar sweetie?" I forgot I was wearing a crop top and took my jacket off. "It's looks painful." Whoever he was tried to get a closer look, but Ivory started to growl.
"Ivory down!" Roman yelled. "Don't worry about it Jael. Go have a good show honey. I'll be in there in 45 to help edit." I could see he was stressed out, but he was trying to mask it.
"Okay, can I um..." I motioned to the hoodie he had on. He chuckled and took it off and gave it to me. I smiled and left. "Don't approach her from behind. Her name is Adrian, when you want to talk to her, attempt to get her attention or wait until she's facing you. Knowing her, she will blatantly ignore you if she doesn't deem you worthy of her time. Don't try to touch her. She doesn't like being touched. If you upset her the dogs will attack you or I will shoot you. Now any questions? None. Great." I smiled and went into the studio. There is no in between I was still pretty insecure about my scars. If you didn't know the story behind them you would never see them. We set up and got comfortable. I hit record. "Sup buttercups it's Kehlani!" Zariah started.
"And Kennedy!"
"And this is Kickin It with the Kurls!" We said both said.
"How was your homecoming last week?" I asked.
