Chapter 21: In love

It was night and Aditya was in his room's balcony lost in the sky gazing stars. There was a different feeling today . He felt good and couldn't deny the serenity he felt. He smiled like a teenager thinking about last night and every moment spent with her. He changed completely and the reason was Zoya. What's happening... this feeling was only getting stronger and stronger.

"You're in love bhai..". Aditya heard the voice behind . He turned around and saw Arjun . He stood with his arms crossed observing his brother. Aditya knew there was no point in hiding things from him.

"Arjun" Aditya took his attempt to speak but Arjun stopped him.

"You don't have to explain things bhai ..." Arjun said calmly. Aditya looked at him.. waiting for him to speak further.

He continued . "I've always searched the passion in your eyes for Pooja di. That intensity, that extreme love ... it's nowhere for her." Arjun said making Aditya look down.

"But I see that for someone else..." Arjun said.

"Pooja is ...". Aditya tried to speak.

"Zoya . Please correct it. It's Zoya Siddiqui... not Pooja." Arjun said coming forward. Aditya looked at him with slight hint of guilt. Rubbing his forehead he went to his bed and sat there . Arjun followed him.

"I'm your brother bhai. Your blood. .. aapke rag rag se waakif Hun main. You can't hide anything from me...". Arjun said with a soft tone kneeling in front of him. Aditya looked at him helplessly. When he saw Arjun ... he realised that he has someone to share his dilemma with. Aditya immediately hugged him.

"I don't know Arjun... I don't know ... I never knew Zoya would affect me so much. Trust me I loved Pooja with all my heart... she was my priority, my best friend , my heart, everything.... I don't know how an unknown feeling generated inside me when I saw Zoya for the first time . I know it was just an attraction but as time flew and as I got to spend time with her , the time she brought me close to paa...the respect she shows , the way she understands love ... I just.... I gave up on my heart ...I found my solace in her ". Aditya said sobbing. Arjun patted his back.

He further continued .
"Zoya has done that thing which even Pooja couldn't do. She doesn't even know I had issues in family... I tried to share but... seemed like she didn't want to hear me or understand me." Aditya said beaking the hug. Arjun looked at him helplessly.

"Physical intimacy wasn't all I needed. I also needed care and respect Arjun. My heart craved for it but I couldn't get that from Pooja but Zoya ... Zoya came like a wind and changed everything. She changed me. The respect , the care she showed was....". Aditya couldn't say more . He kept wiping his tears. Arjun held his hands.

"Don't judge me Arjun... don't judge me ... I know Iam wrong here ... but I couldn't help but fall for her ... I got so much attracted. It's only getting stronger and stronger now." Aditya said holding his hands . His eyes held innocence. Arjun looked at him emotionally. He never imagined that his brother would go through such difficult situation. He hid all this feelings inside him. Arjun felt painful knowing that he wasn't even capable of knowing the problems of his brother. His brother was hiding this just because Arjun shouldn't judge him? How can he feel this way?

"No one is judging you bhai...". Arjun said to Aditya who cried closing his eyes .

"Bhai ... bhai look at me ..." Arjun said holding his face making him look at him.
