Chapter 36: Caught

"Aditya ... hum aapse bepannah mohabbat karte hain."  Zoya said .

Aditya was standing in front of her caressing her cheeks .

"Main tumhe itna chahta hun ki tum soch bhi nahi sakti. Mera saath kabhi mat chodna." Aditya said smiling.

"Kabhi nahi Aditya . Yeh humara wada hai aapse ."
Zoya said smiling . Happy as ever.  

They hugged . Aditya felt peaceful having her in his arms . But later Aditya felt her hands loosening the hold on his torso. He broke the hug and saw her . Her mouth was bleeding and stomach was covered blood .

"ZOYA!!!!" Aditya shouted .

With a jerk he woke up from a horrifying dream. He was panting heavily.

"It's a nightmare . Its just a nightmare." He tried to calm down.

"Why Zoya ... why have you affected me so much? So much that I can't even sleep brushing away your thoughts? I'm scared to even loose you even now . What have you done to me?
Aditya started weeping.

Wish his Zoya was there in real for him to remove all his fears and insecurities.

For next few days everything was going same. Pooja was playing innocent in front of Aditya and his family . Aditya was trying to be normal but couldn't be . He missed Zoya with every passing second. He knew Zoya simply used him but his heart was never ready to leave.

The wedding preparations started in a place little far from Mumbai. Everyone were busy ordering the caterers and flower boys. Pooja's parents easily agreed to marry her with Aditya . They were happy.  Pooja was acting excited selecting dresses and faking off her posh jewelleries. Every member of the Hooda and Sharma house were present in the farmhouse and staying there.

Soon the sun had set and the stars showed up. Only one day was left for them to get married. While everyone were busy with the preparations, Aditya was sitting in the balcony of his room. He was blank. He tried hard to be happy and brush thoughts of Zoya but he failed miserably. He was little happy that Pooja being his best friend was finally smiling. He didn't want to crush her heart again into pieces.

"Bhai.." he heard Arjun's voice behind.

Arjun came and sat beside him.

"Why are you doing this bhai?" Arjun asked . He knew Aditya still loves Zoya.

Aditya shaked his head.

"Sometimes it's better to let go of things Arjun. Maybe this was meant to happen. You know I never imagined all this will happen so quickly. But ... situation pushed me to do this." Aditya then looked at Arjun "and don't worry about me. I'll try to be happy... I'll try to move on. You're my brother , you know me well and I also understand your concern Arjun."

Arjun watched him emotionally.

"Soon everything will be fine bhai. I hope so." He thought.

"Ill neither say anything today bhai nor I'll force you. Just know that when you're in a trouble I'll be there for you." Arjun said. Aditya smiled and gave him a hug. He was lucky to have a brother like him.

They tried to have a normal conversation. It was late at night and they didn't realise the time.

"It's late Arjun. Go and have good sleep. You worked a lot all day." Aditya said. Arjun nodded.
Giving Aditya a last glance he went out of the room.
