Chapter 26: Unconditional love

The song started to play making everyone fall in love. Aditya and Zoya kept looking each other as if the world was invisible . It was not just the passion... it was an emotion. An emotion which was driving her more towards him. His eyes held pure love for her . It was not just the intensity like that last time they danced .... it was an admiration, an affection ... it was peaceful and above all... they felt deeply connected with each other.

The song matched them perfectly. Aditya gently held her hands. She kept the other hand on his shoulders . They moved in rhythm to the music and they looked ..... PERFECT. Specially the other couples who were seated , were in awe of them.

Aditya twirled Zoya round and round. They matched every beat. They say when you love a person and that person's thought comes to your mind , there's a moment in your eye pupils . It looks different ... and that was what exactly Zoya could see . Aditya's eyes proved her ... it was an unconditional love. Her eyes welled up . She could never imagined she could get so much love. Aditya shaked his head telling her not to cry .
Zoya couldn't tried hard to not breakdown. She was thinking everything in a go. The love Aditya has for her , Pooja's undying friendship for her and Rehaan's understanding. The song added more emotions to her thoughts . Aditya knew ... he knew what she was feeling.

"Aditya...hum ek hokar bhi ek na ho paye toh?" Zoya whispered trying not to breakdown. Her voice trembled .

"Hum ek honge ... bharosa hain na mujhpar?" Aditya said . They kept dancing slowly .

"Aditya ... Pooja aapse bahut pyaar karti hai. Hum uska dil kaise tod sakte hain... kaise Aditya..." Zoya said with her eyes filled with tears.

"Aur main tumse pyaar karta Hun... sirf tumse." Aditya immediately held her cheeks wiping the teardrop from her eyes. She nodded her head in denial .

"Aditya... hume pata hai aap humse bahut pyaar karte hain. Par agar hum aapse door chale Gaye toh ... aap Pooja ke saath ek nayi shuruat kar sakte hain aditya..." Zoya said but soon regretted her words as Aditya held her waist and crushed her body with his .

Joining his forehead with hers he said... " door jaane ki sochna bhi Mat Zoya... Mat karo mere saath aisa." Aditya said closing his eyes . Zoya silently weeped.

"Yun samajh lijiye ki kuch samay ki liye aap behek gaye the Aditya ." Zoya said retreating back to take a look at him. His eyes were still closed . Zoya titled her head as she waited for him to open his eyes but when he opened his eyes , she felt like her heart beat stopped. His eyes were watery. He was looking at her ... with teary eyes.

Clenching his jaws trying to absorb her words he said "sukoon ko pana koi behekne ka kaam nahi hai Zoya." Aditya said deeply making her more emotional. She knew how much her words would have hurt him but what else could she do ... weren't they wrong here.

"Tum mera sukoon ho... agar mera sukoon mujhme na rahe toh main sahi main tabaah ho jaunga." Aditya said looking into her eyes.

"Yaad hai tumne uss din bola tha ... ki tumse pyaar karne main mujhe sirf tabaahi milegi ..." Aditya said reminding her about their rainy night in car.

"Tumse pyaar karne main tabaahi nahi hai Zoya ... tumhara mujhse door jana tabaahi hai..." Aditya said whispering trying to control his tears from falling. Zoya was battling with her emotions. She was so touched by his words.

"Aditya..." she started to weep uncontrollably. Aditya wipes her tears .

"Tum kab samjhogi ki mera jeena tumhare bagair namumkin hai... samjh jati toh ye sab nahi kehti" Aditya said gently brushing the teardrop. He smiled weakly.
