Mabel: Dipping Sauce! C'mon! We are almost there!

Dipper looked up at his twin sister as she smiled down at him with her tomboyish charms. She pulled him up onto the log and they stood there looking around, surveying the area.

Dipper: Mabel, where do you think the map leads?

Mabel held up the map and squinted at it humming as she studied it. Mabel had dragged Dipper out into the woods cheerfully telling him she had found a treasure map. He went along with it smiling as Mabel excitedly exclaimed that she found the right direction. She went to move and slipped on the logs surface. Dipper was right where she was falling and they both tumbled onto the soft mossy ground. They looked at each other before bursting out into laughter.

Mabel: Thanks for breaking my fall Dip-Dop!

Dipper: No problem Mabel! Thanks for falling onto the softer ground!

They laughed as they tossed pieces of moss at each other. Mabel was the first to stand up and she helped Dipper up before charging off in the direction she had intended to go. Dipper followed cheerfully and soon they came up on their tree house. Mabel had always said she was gonna get them a tree house, it seemed she stuck true to her word.

Mabel: Dipper! Come on, let's go check it out!

Mabel grabbed Dippers hand and they ran to the tree house and entered it together. One side had been filled with the things Mabel would enjoy while the other side was completely Dipper themed. They ran to their sides and explored the environment. Mabel jumped around happily and Dipper laughed with her. They visited this tree house every day they got the chance. It was their secret space away from the real world.

Dipper stood in the tree house by himself. This was the first time he had visited that he had come since Mabel betrayed him. He picked up a drawing he had made with Mabel, it was both of them holding hands. The top read 'Together Forever!' Tears slipped from his face as he gently folded the paper and stuck it into an inside pocket of his vest.

Mabel came to the tree house and stopped, startled. Every piece of Dippers side was gone. It was like he was never there. Dipper had moved all of his things out. She looked around the empty space, not sure how to feel. She looked away and left the tree house.

Dippers sleeping face twitched and he rolled over on the bed in the attic of the Mystery Shack. Mabel woke with a start and smiled. She had just had a dream she wanted to write down so she wouldn't forget. She grabbed her dream journal but couldn't find a pen.

Mabel: I'm sure Dipping Sauce has one.

She opened the top drawer of his nightstand and gasped. Right there, the first thing to see was the drawing of them together.

Mabel: Together Forever...

She whispered as a tear slipped down her face. She hated herself for what she had put Dipper to. He didn't deserve it. He was the best brother anyone could have asked for. She gritted her teeth to keep a sob from escaping.

Mabel: I'm so sorry Dipper.

She gently squeezed his hand before returning to her bed and falling back asleep.

A shadow fell over Mabel.

Bill: Oh, it's far too late to be sorry, Shooting Star.

Bill looked down at Mabel with a sharp and wide smile. He laughed before fading back into nothing.
