Elena Gilbert was nervous, to say the least. She had caught the gorgeous man staring at her and now was finally going to talk to him. He had bought her a drink and she had to show her gratitude.

"You know some think it's rude to stare." She grinned as she slid into the stool beside him.

"And here I was thinking the drink would make up for that." He smirked as he noticed the empty glass where she had been sitting. "Perhaps another will do the trick."

"Are you trying to get me drunk?" She gasped dramatically. "And to think I don't even know your name."

"That can easily be remedied, Darling." He held out his hand for her to shake. "Kaleb."

"Elena." She smiled as she took his hand. He shifted his grip before placing a kiss on her knuckles. "What a gentleman."

"I try." He winked. He waved over a bartender and got two shots of tequila. They downed the shots as soon as they appeared in front of them.

"Kol!" Just as the glass hit the counter, Kol was pulled away from the woman by his older brother. "Get away from her." Elijah glared at Elena and she looked at him in confusion.

"Excuse me?" Elena asked, getting up from the stool.

"She is using a fake name," Elijah informed his brother, ignoring the woman.

"So am I." Kol pointed out, irritated by his brother's interruption.

"She is a con artist."

"Who cares, she's a hot one." Kol grinned winking at Elena over his brother's shoulder.

"Do you remember Niklaus telling you of Katerina?" Elijah reminded him.

"This is your ex? Damn Elijah, who knew you still had it in you?"

"I'm sorry, what is your problem?" Elena asked stepping between the two brothers.

"Playing dumb doesn't suit you, Katerina." Elijah scoffed.

"Who's Katerina?" Elijah rolled his eyes at her question.

"Do you prefer Katherine?" He sneered and things began to click.

"You've met my sister." Elena breathed out, slightly relieved by the development. "What did she do to you?"

"Your sister? That's creative."

"I'm serious! My name is Elena Gilbert. Katherine is my twin sister."

"So there's two of you?" Kol grinned as he imagined two of the glorious woman in front of him.

"Yeah." Elena blushed.

"I don't believe it." Elijah insisted.

"Look he's not going to leave us alone until you prove it and I'd really rather not have him around for what I've planned next." Elena searched on her phone at Kol's request. She pulled up a picture of her with her sister.

"Kol, you are naive

"Kol, you are naive. She is a con artist she surely knows how to photoshop." Elijah protested.

"You know what? I don't need to prove myself to you. There are plenty of other bars." She started to walk away when a hand gripped her wrist.

"I warned you to stay away from me," Elijah spoke lowly and if it wasn't filled with such malice she was sure it would be sexy.

"Listen, Katherine's a bitch and I'm sorry for whatever she did to you." Elena sighed, yanking her arm away. "But if you ever lay a hand on me again, you'll wish you hadn't" Kol watched her walk away.

"Brother, just because you aren't getting laid doesn't mean you have to make sure everyone else isn't." Kol sighed dramatically. He went after Elena but by the time he had gotten outside, she was gone.

Elena sat in the taxi and called her sister.

"You were right." She sighed, feeling Katherine's smug look through the phone.

"Of course I was." She scoffed. "I will see you tomorrow for part three."

"Part three? What's part two?" Elena questioned.

"Doesn't concern you." Katherine hung up causing her sister to roll her eyes.

Kol returned to the bar looking for someone else to take home. He noticed a girl sitting alone in the back corner. She looked up and their eyes locked. He joined her at the table and she welcomed him.

"Kol Mikaelson." He introduced, partly just to spite his overly cautious older brother.

"Nice to meet you, Kol." She grinned in response, twirling the straw around in her drink. "I'm Bonnie Bennett."
