The vow renewal ceremony was beautiful. Caroline felt herself tearing up as the Mikaelsons professed their undying love for one another. She wondered if she and Klaus would ever have that. Love that spanned over decades. Unconditional and pure. She knew for that to ever happen she would have to tell him the truth.

Bonnie tore her eyes away from the happy couple to look at Kol who was already staring at her.

"Do you ever wonder if we'll get there?" Bonnie whispered, hoping not to scare him off.

"I have no doubt that one day we will." He grinned, kissing her forehead. He draped his arm over her shoulders.

Rebekah glanced at her parents, remembering a time when she and Marcel would look at each other like that. He had informed her that he wouldn't be able to make it to the ceremony and she was painfully aware of what that meant. The Mikaelsons were all about familial obligations and him not showing meant things were truly over.

Elijah watched his parent's though his thoughts were elsewhere. The ring was burning a hole in his pocket. After Katerina, he never thought he would fall in love again especially with someone who looked just like her. But now, sitting beside Elena with tears in her eyes, he couldn't imagine spending his life with anyone else.

After the ceremony, Mikael and Esther held a reception for all their friends and family to celebrate their love. They all danced to music and ate good food. At one point, everyone switched partners and Elena found herself dancing with Henrik. She laughed as the young boy twirled her around. Caroline partnered up with Kol while Bonnie sat on the side getting to know Keelin. Elijah danced with his mother while Klaus joined the floor with Rebekah. Everyone was having a grand time and everyone seemed to forget the secrets and arguments that were looming over them.

Elena, Caroline and Bonnie felt at home with the Mikaelsons.

"So, is this where I find out you're leaving me for my brother?" Elijah chuckled as he cut in, stealing Elena away from his youngest brother.

"Of course not, I'll wait a few years and then trade-in for a newer model." She winked and he pulled her closer.

Klaus tapped Kol on his shoulder before escorting Caroline elsewhere on the dance floor.

"This is amazing." Caroline gushed as she admired the space. "Your parents really know how to throw a party."

"This is actually one of their more modest gatherings," Klaus informed her. "You look ravishing, Love."

"You can thank your sister for that." Caroline glanced over at Rebekah who was sitting by herself, clearly missing Marcel. She felt bad, knowing how lonely Rebekah had been without him. Klaus smiled to himself the conversation holding a sense of familiarity.

"I was thinking I'd have to thank your mother." Caroline playfully rolled her eyes before pulling Klaus into a kiss.

Kol joined Bonnie at the bar, ordering them both drinks as Keelin left to find Freya.

"Having fun, Darling?"

"I am, though I do believe you owe me a dance." She pointed out. He downed his drink before offering his hand. She followed suit and they made their way onto the dance floor.

"I've been thinking..." Kol began.

"God help us all." Bonnie teased earning a dramatic gasp from him.

"You've been spending too much time with my siblings." Kol groaned though he couldn't keep the smile from his face. "I want you to move in with me."

"Really?"

"Really." Bonnie wrapped her arms around his neck and he twirled her around. "I'll take that as a yes then?" He chuckled as he held her tightly.

"Yes! Of course. I'd love to move in with you."

"We'll move your things the moment you get back." He grinned proudly. "And then we will properly christen the bedroom." Bonnie blushed.

"Not so loud! I can feel your mother glaring at me from over there!" She giggled.

"I would shout it from the rooftops if I could." A devious smirk spread across his face. "I-" He started to yell but Bonnie immediately covered his mouth with her hand.

"You're a dork."

"Bt m yr drk." Kol mumbled against her hand. He licked her hand and she crinkled her nose. She removed her hand and wiped Kol's spit on his face. He then proceeded to press his face against hers as she tried to free herself from his grasp.

Everything was perfect. Well, almost.
