"I can't believe you're making me do this." Klaus groaned as he carried a box of Rebekah's stuff into Caroline's apartment. Caroline rolled her eyes at him.
Katherine hadn't been overly impressed when Caroline told her that Rebekah would be moving in with her. After a string of swear words ridiculed Caroline for being reckless, Katherine had once again readjusted her plan to accommodate Caroline.
"I'm not making you do anything." She scoffed dramatically.
"I'm not doing this out of the kindness of my heart, Love." He pointed out.
"Fine, how can I make it up to you?" She asked as he set down the box in what would be Rebekah's room.
"Let me take you out to dinner tonight." Caroline blushed and stepped closer.
"I guess that could be arranged." She smiled before leaning in and kissing his cheek.
"Gross." Rebekah groaned as she and Stefan brought in the last two boxes. Caroline rolled her eyes playfully while Klaus glared at his sister.
"Are you okay to stay here alone tonight?" Caroline asked Rebekah as the boys made their way into the hallway. "Your brother is taking me out."
"I think I can manage. Just let me know if you plan on staying over." Rebekah grinned and Caroline shook her head.
"It's our first date Bekah!" Caroline gasped but she had to admit she wouldn't mind going back to his place. She knew Bonnie and Elena had already had sex with their boyfriends and a part of her was jealous. It had been too long and Klaus was too hot.
"Mhmm. Now let's kick the boys out so I can get you ready."
Elena sat on Elijah's bed waiting for him to get out of the shower. She had contemplated joining him but figured there was a reason he was up so early. When he came out he walked over to her and pecked her lips.
"Good Morning, did I wake you?" He asked as he pulled a suit out of his closet.
"No, I had to get up anyway. I have to get back to my place to get ready for my meeting with my editor." She sighed. "I should probably get going." She started to get up when he came and stood in front of her, blocking her path.
"You should move in with me." He stated, placing his hand on her cheek.
"Do you think it's too soon?" Elena asked cautiously.
"You're here almost every night anyway, plus it would save you from having to rush out of here every morning." He pointed out. It was a tempting offer but she knew she couldn't agree until she talked it over with her sister.
"It sounds amazing but, I need to think about it, okay?" She hoped he wouldn't be offended by her request and luckily he understood completely.
"Of course. We can talk about it more tomorrow. I'll come pick you up for breakfast?" Elena nodded and quickly got dressed.
Katherine sat in her apartment with Kai. He had apparently been watching her for a while which would have creeped her out if it didn't impress her. She had invited him over to discuss if he could benefit her. She knew it was risky but there was something intriguing about him.
"I'm glad you asked me here." Kai was grinning at her as she studied him.
"Why have you been following me?" She asked, immediately getting to her point.
"So dramatic." Kai rolled his eyes. She gave him a warning glare and he raised his hands in mock surrender. "Four millionaires in four years. You have quite an impressive resume." He shrugged.
"Are you after the money?" She questioned, crossing her arms. If she had to pay to shut him up, she would.
"I'm after the game." He corrected. "Ruining people's lives for sport and getting money out of it? Sign me up." He smirked.
"So you want to help me?"
"You're plan has been going off the rails. You need me." Kai said smugly.
"Do you really believe I don't have a plan B?" Katherine scoffed.
"I believe you're used to doing everything yourself and this time, it's out of your control." Kai summarized. "Your puppets can only do so much."
"You think you can do better?" Katherine challenged.
"Give me one of your problems and I'll tell you how I'd solve it." Katherine thought for a moment. "If you think you're better off without me, I'll leave and you'll never hear from me again."
"Fine." She tried to think of an issue and one stuck out clear as day. "The sister of my targets moved in with one of my girls."
"Make sure your girl gets as close to her as possible. She won't suspect a thing. People are blind when they care about someone so if Rebekah sees Caroline as the perfect best friend who wants what is best for her and is always there for her, she will support the relationship. For Klaus, the approval will make Caroline more attractive because the Mikaelsons value family above all. As for your part in this, limit your calls with her as much as possible and if you do communicate, make sure it can't be traced, which I'm sure you do anyway." Kai finished his explanation and waited for Katherine's approval.
"Not bad."
"So Kitty Kat, Feel like making a deal with the devil?" Kai held out his hand and Katherine eyed it carefully. Without a word, she shook his hand. Kai couldn't keep the smirk off his face and Katherine wondered if she was making a mistake. "The Psychotic Bitch and the Sociopath. A match made in hell."
