Hazel's POV:

The next morning I get up late again. Not living with my parents is making me lazy and unorganized.

I take a quick shower and breakfast. Jonah is not at home.

"I don't know Hazel. My stupid cousins are here again," Ava says in a hushed tone, they are probably around her. This has always been Ava's worst problem, she has way too many cousins, who never leaves her especially in summers.

"I wonder Elijah says the same when I visit her," Zach laughs. Zach came over to my house after having a morning workout.

"You are not coming, Ava?" I ask her. We have a plan for a movie.

"I will but my cousin might come too," she tells us. "Can you come over to my house?"

"Yeah sure," I say.

I neither know how to drive nor do Zach and I have a car, so Zach and I walk to Ava's. It's not a long walk, it's just a few blocks away and we don't mind walking.

"Your parents literally made you marry Jonah for a business deal?" Zach says.

"Yea Zach they did," I shrug. I am tired of answering this question. Is it this hard to believe?

"Gezz, I thought it only happens in books," he says and I look at him suspiciously.

"You read these types of books?" I ask weirdly.

"Uh no. My sister does," he says and I nod.

"You scared me for a second Zach," I joke and he laughs.

"What about college?" he asks.

"Next year," I tell him. "Do you have any plans on going to college after school,"

"I am not sure,"

"Why?"

"Because I am into music," he tells me. "I might start writing songs and making music, join a band. I don't know,"

"Oh, and then you'll be famous and you'll have a lot of fans, especially girls," I say excitedly mocking him. "And I'll tell everyone I am Zach Herron's friend,"

"Easy," he says. His face turning red.

"What about your dating life?"

"Single," he says in a sing-song manner. "What about you. I shouldn't  ask you now that you are married but anyone you like?"

"No, I had two boyfriends in high school but it didn't work out,"

As we reach halfway through we hear a car stops beside us. "Hey, hazel," Corbyn pulls out his head from the window of black Audi. Jonah sitting on the driving seat.

"Hello Corbyn," I say with a bored expression. I am still mad at him for telling Jonah about the pictures but I'll talk to him about it later.

"Where are you guys going?" he asks.

"To Ava's?" I tell him.

"Come in we'll drop you off," he says.

"Uh no. We are okay. It's not that far away" I say. There is no way I am going with Jonah.

"Come on in Hazel. Don't worry,"

I shake my head.

"Why are you forcing her if she doesn't want to go?" I hear Jonah say.

"See, there is no need," I say.

"Forget about him. Come on in," he says.

"Let's go if he is insisting," Zach speaks. I look at him irritably. "Please," he smiles.
