Hazel's POV:
After mom, dad, and Ava leave, Tyler introduces me to their house worker named Trin who is younger than I expected, probably in her late twenties. She has dark hair, and she is taller than me, wearing light blue jeans and a white shirt.
Tyler leaves, saying he has to do some important work, and he'd be back at dinner. I also found out he lives in New York but comes to Los Angeles just to see his son and attend business meetings.
Jonah went upstairs. I really want to change into something comfortable but I don't know where to go and which one is my room.
"Trin," I call Trin who is in the kitchen
"Yes," she asks as she walks towards me in the living room.
"Where is my room,"
"Let me show you," she says with a smile and I nod. As we walk towards the staircase, Jonah walks down with a scowl on his face.
"I told you to not put her stuff in my room," he says angrily to Trin.
"I- Mr. Wood told me too," she stutters.
"That is my room. He is not the one who will decide who lives there," he yells and I jump at his loud voice. Trin also looks scared.
"Can't you be nice for once in your life. I don't want to live with you anyway," I say gathering up all the courage I have because I feel bad fr defenseless and scared Trin.
He looks at me with his dark eyes. "I didn't talk to you so mind your own fucking business," he snaps.
"Excuse me?" I say crossing my arms. "You are talking about my stuff in your room. I'll take them out," I say moving towards the stairs.
"No, I don't want you in my room," he says. "Trin go throw her things out of my room,"
My head is spinning with his choice of words and disgusting attitude. I have never felt this angry in my entire life before. Only he knows how to get into every nerve of me. I don't know how I will spend the whole year with him.
"Ok, whatever. I don't want to go into your damn room anyway." I snap before I could stop myself.
In a matter of seconds, he is dangerously close to me, holding my arm tightly. "This is the last time after the party that you are talking to me like this Hazel. If you ever talk to me like this again, you'll regret your existence, I'll make sure of that," he says and leaves, leaving me dumbfounded.
I look up at Trin who is looking at me sympathetically. I am glad that he left though.
We go upstairs through the large circular staircase. There are fancy light bulbs hanging in the corridor. We enter the first room to the right which is Jonah's. It is a bigger room than I expected with a huge wooden bed and side tables. A maroon-colored armchair and a lamp are placed right next to the window.
In, front of the bed are a mirror and a dressing table with various types of perfumes. Next to the door, there is a matching two-seater maroon sofa. There is a photo frame of him on the bedside table. The bed is also quite messy with both pillows and comforter pile up in one corner.
I didn't expect it to be like this. I thought of more of a dark themed room.
Trin and I take my things out of his room and put them in the room next to his because it's the only room left. There are three rooms in this house apart from the guest room and study. The third one is Tyler's
"What do you want to have for dinner tonight?" She asks.
"I don't know. Make whatever you want to. I just want to be alone right now." I say. She nods and leaves.
Here is the weekly update. Because I posted it late, I'll post another chapter tomorrow. Two updates in a week. For now, enjoy the chapter and don't forget to vote and comment. Love Y'all.
