I walked down the hall, bag in hand. The fact I am coming in halfway throughout the semester was beyond me. Dad said that it would get me out of my comfort zone. Why can't I just be with him creating new machines? I could even work on my own suit, but noooo I am too young to be a hero.

Being the adopted daughter of Tony Stark was troubling. He found me running away from the school of mutants. He decided to take me under his wing when he found that he could use me to benefit the world. He trained me, parented me, and took care of me. Tony may not be the father of the year but he tried to show he cared, that's what mattered.

I look at the paper in my hand trying to find the right room. People offered to help but I ignored them, determined to find my homeroom alone. I finally reach 103 and I made my way in. I ignored the teacher and sat at the desk like I have done it several times. If I could go unnoticed so I can focus on ways to improve my suit. That would be great. I dont need the attention, I don't need anyone to help me.

"Alright class, so today we begin a new chapter about polarity in molecules." The man sat on top of his desk and went through his PowerPoint. The kid next to me nudged my arm and I looked up.

"How come I never seen you before?" He whispered.

"What are you talking about? I've been sitting here since August." I rolled my eyes and continued taking notes.

He looked for a second before being interrupted. "Eugene, would you mind telling me why molecules with high polarity are more likely to react?" I looked at him and watched him search the room for an answer.

"Pay attention to the class, instead of your mini conversation." He lectured on as I quietly snickered to myself and kept writing my notes.

Taking a seat in the corner of the cafeteria, I started sketching and making blueprints for the weapons on my suit. A tray was dropped in front of me. The noise making me jump slightly. I look up to see a girl snickering and sitting down. her brown curly hair pulled into a pony tail while her bangs stayed out in front of her face. I moved to a new page.

"So you are the new girl right?" She grabbed a carrot and took a bite.

"I'm not really new I started in August just like everyone else." I kept a straight face and tried to study her.

"Yeah thats not gonna work on me, see I am the only one that sits alone in this spot. So who are you?" She stared back at me trying to read me.

"I don't show and tell." I sat up straight as her eyes squinted.

"You aren't half bad." She gave a slight smirk and I gave a small smile. "Neither are you." She took out her book and began reading. I continued drawing until two boys walked up questioning why MJ, the girl, was sitting away from their usual spot.

"Am I not allowed to sit with someone else that doesn't talk about Star Wars 24/7?" She quipped and I looked up to see who they were when my eyes met with the brunette. His brown eyes questioning himself about my identity. The other boy sat down and reached a hand out.

"I'm Ned." He smiled and clearly he was a genuine person. I took his hand and shook it.

"Nice to meet you Ned." I smiled back and closed my notebook.

"Peter would you just sit down already and stop staring at her." MJ snapped and turned back to her book. He eyed me suspiciously, he was on edge, I could even feel it.

He slowly sat next to Ned, eyeing me carefully.

I made a quick motion forward, "boo." I giggled and say "trust me, I don't mean any harm." I shoved my notebook into my bag. Ned nudged Peter's arm and smiled back at me.
