I don't remember how it happened. All I remember was being at my internship when I was consumed by a black substance. Other than that I now have a voice in my head, constantly speaking and not allowing me to live my life. The baggy hoodie Peter left at my house and the dark bags underneath my eyes allowed no one to speak to me.

We are a unit, your life is both of ours now.

I unlocked my locker and grabbed my notebooks.

"I never agreed to be a unit. As long as I'm living, we serve each other." I had my limits, and he had his. According to him, most people don't live past 20 minutes. Yet a week later, I am still standing somehow. Slight footsteps caught my attention and I turned to see Peter.

"Hey, I have been looking for that sweater. Woah, everything okay?" He stopped and tried to assess if I was hurt.

"Oh, uh yeah I found it and kept forgetting to bring it. But I am fine Peter, just I didn't sleep at all during Fall Break." He hugged me and I hugged back weakly.

Smells good enough to eat.

We are not eating Peter, he is one of the only people that care for me.

Please, he only pities you. Who could care for someone as self destructive as you.

"Stop it." I angrily whispered and Peter pulled away his hands rising up in confusion. "Sorry Peter, I didn't mean you. I really needed that hug so thank you."

"Of course maybe we can hangout Saturday, you can tell me what's going on."

"Yeah sounds fun. We should get to class, Mr. Digler won't be happy if we are late." I closed my locker and began walking with him.

I walked outside sitting in the courtyard away from everyone. My arms immediately clinging to a squirrel beside me. Within two second it was gone and on its way to my stomach. I pull out my lunch and forced myself to eat as much as I could. He craved more that what I had.

I'm not eating that raw beef, it's dead.

I don't know what to tell you, I refuse to eat a human at school.

Fine, right when we leave this shit hole we will go find someone.

"Y/n? You okay? You ditched class."

"I got hungry Peter, my blood sugars are low."

"Somethings gone horribly wrong. The dedicated Y/n never ditches class." He sat beside me and I looked at the football field ahead of us.

Just leave him. He doesn't deserve what you have to tell him.

"I'm worried about you." He mumbled and wrapped an arm around me.

"I appreciate it, but you shouldn't. I am a mess and not worth your time."

"Don't ever say that. I care about you, that will never change."

"Someday it will." I left his side embrace and I grab my bag. "I should go."

I started walking home and saw a man grab a purse and run off.

Him.

Instantly, I lost control of my body as I began sprinting off trying to chase the man down. The woman, now behind me, screaming for help. I moved so much quicker with him controlling. He dodged into an alleyway and Venom came out, consuming my mortal body into a thick black goo resembling another body. I could only watch from the backseat. He consumed the man whole, not even blinking. The purse dropped and Venom crawled behind a wall as the woman looked around and grabbed her purse in confusion.
