Just Another Woman

He didn't expect much when he walked into the Cafe. It was the same thing everyday, nothing should have changed but there you were. After ordering his coffee and a few chocolate brownies, he sat down two tables down. You were reading a book, but you definitely weren't a usual here. He would have seen you sooner and admired you from afar.

"Caramel latte for Y/n?" A voice called and you stood up softly setting your book down, and heading to the counter.

"Mocha latte for Eddie?" He cursed himself before standing up and heading to the counter. "And here are those brownies for ya." The worker smiled and moved to help the next customer.

"Big fan of chocolate?" You asked as you grabbed a stir stick.

"U-uh, yeah. I get cravings every once in a while." He rubbed the back of his neck.

Who is she and why does she make our heart beat faster?

Shut up.

She shall not hurt us, I will bite her head off.

No! Stop, she is fine.

"I understand that." She chuckled lightly and began walking back to her table.

"Are you new here?" He didn't mean to vocally ask but he felt almost compelled to.

"Hm?" You hummed before turning back around. "Oh, yeah. I move into this past weekend and heard good things about this place." You tucked a strand of hair behind your ear and he thought it was cute.

"Yeah it's uh great here. Their brownies are to die for."

Speaking of, we are starving. Eat!

You watched him shovel a brownie into his mouth, but you giggled. He cursed at himself and Venom under his breath, which you picked up on.

"I'm Y/n, by the way." You held out a hand and grabbed it it with his empty one. He shook softly.

"Eddie, nice to meet you Y/n." He introduced and nodded slightly.

"I should probably go unpack, maybe I will see you around again soon." You grabbed your book and walked out the door. Taking sips of your coffee as you did so. Venom took over his body and shoveled the other brownies in quickly.

I need more.

"Your a pig, you know that?" Eddie commented to himself and walked outside as well.

You sat down once again this time with a laptop instead of a book. You heard the bell of the door and you look up to see Eddie. You wave a little before looking back at the screen. Deciding on what your next project is gonna be. Searching through article postings and other job postings to find any hint of another job.

"Mind if I sit with you?" You looked up to see Eddie with a small smile on his face. You nodded and he sat across from you. You sipped from your latte as he fixated himself.

Why do we continue seeing this woman?

"Watcha working on?" He asked curiously ignoring the symbiote in his head.

"Searching for jobs, I tend to work in labs but there is only a few places hiring so far."

"Like what?"

"Lab technician at The Life Industry, there is-" you were interrupted by him immediately.

"Don't work there! They are an evil cooperation." He stated and started to get angry.
