A/n this isn't really a lovey one shot, it's just a way for me to vent, sorry. And it isn't cute or funny, I just thought the name was funny. 
Nagisas pov

"Nagisa-kun, can I speak to you?"

My 1-D teacher calls out as the bell rings,

"H-hai sensei!"

"So Nagisa-kun, I wanted to talk to you about your grades," me heart drops to my stomach, "Your starting to fall behind, but you are a smart boy, so I want you to tell me what I can do to help you?"

He's a teacher, you can trust them, tell him what can help and he'll help, that's his job... right?

"Well..."

It turns out,

"Nagisa-kun, can I speak to you after class?"

I was wrong,

"H-hai sensei!"

He didn't do a thing, my grades stayed the same and I stayed on the edge of being sent to E class,

"Your grades are dangerously close to putting you in the end class, your a smart boy, so tell me what I can do to help you."

Maybe she'll be different?

But no one cares for a dumb kid.

But their job is to teach us and make sure we understand the material...

They only care about the smart kids, the dumb ones just shit up and fail. YOU should just shut up, and fail.

But I can trust her, so I'll tell her.

"Well..."

"Nagisa-kun, I'm sorry to tell you this, but you've been moved down to the end class."

I don't even care anymore, I knew this would happen, she did nothing that I said that would help, the voice was right, teachers only care about the smart kids because it gives them something to be proud about.

The failures just shut up and fail.

"Nagisa-kun, can I talk to you at lunch?" Koro-sensei asked right before the bell rings, he doesn't care.

" h-hai sensei."

No one cares about the dumb kids, no one cares about you, so just shut up and fail.

" your marks in science and math have dropped, you were doing fantastic earlier this month but then you took a plum it, are you ok?"

That's a new question, but it will always end the same, just shut up and fail.

I shrug my shoulders, not knowing how to answer.

"Mm I see, anything at home?"

Why do you care?

I shrug my shoulders again, being thrown off by the question.

"Well then, what do you think I can do to help you?"

There's that fucking question.

Shrugging my shoulders once more, not enthusiastic about the conversation topic.

"Then think about it over night and come to me tomorrow and tell me, then I'll do all I can to help, ok?"

I nod my head. Thinking back to all the times I've been told that I'd get help, but never getting it.

Alrighty, I'm off to Mexico! See you after lunch."
He said launching off at great speeds.

He doesn't care, so why bother putting together a list when nothing will happen.

"Yo Nagi-chan, what'd the octopus talk to you bout?" Karmas voice sounded from my desk.

He doesn't care. He just wants conversation.

"Just about my science and math grade."

"Well if you need tutoring then I can help, though I would recommend going to Okuda for science." His smirk tugs his lips up.

"Thanks Karma-kun!"

They. Don't. Care.

"Hello Nagisa-kun! Do you have that list for me?"

Wow, he actually remembered, to bad he'll forget about it in a day or two.

"H-hai!"

Lying, I don't like it but I have to.

"Then let's go through it in the hall, everyone else has a chance to finish their conversations."

We walk out to the hallway.

"Now Nagisa-kun, tell me this list." He brings out a pad of paper and pen to take notes.

Maybe he really dose care...

But he doesn't, don't get your hopes up, all the stupid and dumb kids just shut. Up. And. Fail.

"Well..."

"I understand and will try my best to accommodate this into my teaching methods, if I forget, call me out on it, I know it's hard, but I need you to speak up, so you can succeed."

I can succeed, if I speak up.

I can't afford to keep shutting up, and I can't keep failing, so I'll speak up for the first time, and succeed, maybe not tomorrow or the after that or the day after that. But mark my word when I say, I'll succeed.

"Nagisa-sensei! Can I speak to you after class?"

"Hai!" The bell rings and I sit down at my desk, Koukie-kun joining me, pulling up a chair.

"My grades are slipping, can I ask you for help?" A smile pulls at my lips, "of course, now-" pulling out a paper and pad,"- tell me what I can do so we can get that grade back up!"

It's hard, but to speak up is what you need to do. So don't be afraid to speak up in a silent classroom, ask what you need to, and one day, you will succeed. I promise.
