Saint bernard Pt.2

Nagisa POV

Her apology was half assed at best. She always wanted a normal life, she has always had some resentment towards us because she can't have that normal life every other kid her age does.

An idea pops into my head as she sulks up to her room.

"Karma, I have an idea..."

Small yips leave the small hound as he sniffs Karmas hand for a third time.

"If you're gonna bite me just bite me already..." I can tell Karma is getting irritated with the small dog as he continues to hold out his hand for it to sniff.

"Oh come on Karma, he just wants to say hello!" The puppy goes back to barking as Karma grumbles under his breath.

"That one hasn't been here long, he was found out in the woods, almost dead when we found the bugger. He's a resilient one I'll tell ya that." The lady who took us back to meet the dogs pops up beside Karma as the puppy goes back to sniffing him.

"He has been bitting a lot, I think he's teething." She holds out her hand only for the small dog to bite it.

"Then what the hell is it sniffing me for?" She holds back a laugh as the small dog begins licking Karmas hand.

"I think he likes you~"

"What! I'm not even the one who wanted a dog!" A laugh rumbles from her belly as she holds his shoulder.

"That's the thing with pets, they always love the ones who didn't want them." She wipes away a small tear from her eye as she stands back up.

"But all jokes aside I do think you'd make lovely parents to that small bugger, what'd ya say?" I look up at Karma giving him- well, puppy dog eyes.

He sighs and nods his head to the lady as she smiles wide.

"Great! Just follow me so we can get the papers sighted."

"So what do you want to name the bugger?" She looks back up at us as we look down at the small pup.

"Hmm, I don't know, what do you think Karma?" He looks down towards him and smiles.

"Koro." He reaches a hand down to pet the small dog-Koro and he is met by a tongue licking his hand.

"Gah! Seriously?" He pulls his hand away and wipes it off on his pants.

"I think Koro is a lovely name for him, a little odd but he's an odd dog." The lady smiles as she writes down the name.

I smile at Karma as he looks back down to Koro with a smile back on his lips.

I feel so happy seeing them like this.

Though we all know who's gonna be the dog's favourite.

A/n I AM SO SORRY IT'S SO SHORT! I've just been out of it for a while, I got sick last week and felt like shit plus I really didn't know where this was going so yeah (then again I almost never know where my writing is going when I start) but another reason is because I have been focusing on my avatar Zuko story! I am officially on the third chapter and am... stuck. But hey I know how to end it! I just don't know how to get there. Anyways sorry for the long wait I literally pulled this out of my ass. Anyways I'll see y'all later bye~
