Trans Karma Au time bitches! Also I don't know if this affects any of you but as of November 30th grades 7 to 12 will be back online until January 11th. I have been home sick for ten days and got back on the 24th so now I have three days left before I'm back home ;w; kill me. Anyways as you can tell I wrote this very last minute because I have a Christmas gift (or holiday gift) for all of you! I'll be writing a short chapter for all of December until Christmas where it will (hopefully) be a full chapter. There will also be a New Years chapter. Anyways I still have this week and one more chapter that has nothing to do with the holidays. Because I don't actually like Christmas but I promised last year to give y'all something and never delivered on that so this year I'll try harder! Anyways we should get on with the story!
Karma POV
~~~~~~~~~~~
"Why do I have to wear this?" I grip at the sides of the dress I was forced into. I hate wearing dresses.
"Because we're going to a wedding darling, you need to look formal." My mom brushes through my hair that goes down to my shoulders. It feels too long.
"But why can't I wear a suit like dad!" I stomp my foot looking back at her.
Her face held shock as she blinked.
"Well because you're a girl dear. Boys wear suits and girls wear dresses." She tries to turn me so that she can continue to brush through my hair.
"Then I'll be a boy!" I yell at her as I rip my hair out of her hands.
I run to the bathroom grabbing the scissors off the counter. I pull my hair in front of me as I hear my mom coming to the bathroom.
Before she can say anything I chop off a big chunk of my hair as she gasps.
"Karma! We leave in 30 minutes! Why would you do that?" She grabs the scissors and forces me to look her in the eye.
"Because you said boys get to wear suits, I don't wanna wear this dress. I don't wanna be someone's wife. I wanna be a boy. I wanna wear suits and be someone's husband. I wanna be like dad." Tears fall down my cheeks as I pull at the dress. My mom wipes my tears as she sighs.
"Well the. I guess we should finish the haircut." She pulls a chunk of hair out and chops it off. "Unless you want half of a haircut." She smiles as she picks me up and puts me on the counter where she continues the hair cut.
"You aren't mad?"
"I'm mad you told me 30 minutes before the wedding." She kisses my head as she continues cutting. "But I'm not mad at you for wanting to wear a suit and cut your hair Karma. I will never be mad with you about expressing yourself in a healthy way darling. You are my child, daughter or son, you will always be my child and I will love you like it until the day I die."
I was so scared she would be mad with me. Everyone else's parents got mad at them if they took scissors to their hair or demanded to wear a different outfit.
Maybe I just got super lucky with my mom. She really is the best.
"Thank you mom. I love you."
Time skip
"I love you too Karma."
Nagisa has such a happy smile I can't help but copy it.
"I can't believe it's our wedding tomorrow... the last time I went to a wedding I was chopping my hair off 30 minutes before the ceremony." I laugh at the memory and remember how my mom reacted.
I'm so happy she agreed to be the maid of honour. I can't imagine my wedding without her.
I can't believe how far I've come since I first cut my hair before my uncles wedding.
I can barely even remember it, I only remember before the wedding and feeling so happy at it. I doubt it had anything to do with the new happy couple but whatever.
I'll never forget that wedding.
And I'll never forget this next one, my wedding.
I'm marring a man that I love with all of my heart. Tears come to my eyes out of pure joy as I start laughing at the memories of how confused my family was when they saw me.
"What's so funny?" Nagisa pokes my cheek as I laugh harder.
"I'm just remembering what my uncle said when he saw me with short hair." I gasp for air as I continue to laugh my head off.
"Uhhhhh, I'd that Karma or dose she have an identical twin brother?" He looks down at the smiling child before he starts laughing.
"Nope! It's Karma!"
"Must have been pretty funny to get you laughing so much." Nagida rest his head on my lap as I look back to the movie playing on the screen, I believe it's cheaper by the dozen. It's pretty good, definitely worth checking out. (yes I am telling you to check it out)
This really is a special moment.
I love this man and will be thrilled to be his husband.
I guess I got my wish.
I really do get to be someone's husband.
I get to wear a suit and I get to be a boy.
I really did get lucky, didn't I?
A/n sorry it's short but I like it! Anyways I'll see y'all later bye~
