Day 4: sugar cookies

I continue to mix the dough as Karma turns on the oven.

He digs through a box of cookie cutters to get the one he wants.

"Aha! Here it is!" He holds up a snowflake cookie cutter as he walks over to where I'm standing, now finished mixing the dough.

"Where's the rolling pin?" He turns to a corner of the kitchen before turning to another then just spinning on the spot.

"You lost it didn't you?"

"...maybe"

I sigh as I plop the dough onto the counter.

"It's fine, we can just use a cup."

He fishes out a plastic cup from the top shelf and hands it to me. I roll out the dough and grab the cookie cutter.

"Okay so we're almost done, can you get a pan and-" he grabs something from the table showing me he's already done prepping it." Oh, never mind then."

I cut out cookies and hand them to him to put on the sheet until we run out of dough.

"What should we do with the scrapes?" He takes them and balls them up before pressing it down and putting it onto the sheet.

"We'll use it as a tester cookie."

"Okay then..." the oven beeps and I grab an oven mitt.

"Shouldn't you wait until things are actually hot?" Karma grabs the sheet and waits for me to open the oven before stepping closer.

"It's always a good idea to be careful."

I take the sheet from him and put it in the oven as he sets a timer.

I forgot how much fun it is to bake cookies.

A/n uhhhhhhh not my best work but whatever, I just thought of this cause I'm making sugar cookies today so yeah, anyways I'll see y'all later bye~
