"Apologize."
I stare my daughter dead in the eye as she turns to look at Nagisa.

Flash back.

"Papa, why can't I visit grandma?" Nagisa freezes as he drops his chopsticks.

"Because she's insane dear." I grab another piece of sushi.
"So we won't be visiting her."

"But I thought you said that family is important?" She has always wanted to visit her grandparents like other kids but it's hard when my parents are in America and Nagisas mom is in a mental hospital and his dad had been killed by her.

"Well sometimes family is bad and you need to make a new one."

"But she's your mom! What did she do to deserve this?" She stands up slamming her hands into the table.

"She tried to kill me Matoko! Not to mention she killed your grandpa!" Nagisa stands as well grabbing his plate and putting into the sink.

"Well maybe-"

"No Matoko, it's exactly how it sounds. She tried to kill me because I wasn't good enough for her. In her eyes I deserved to die because I wasn't the perfect child she wanted-" he grabs the plate in front of Matoko before grabbing my plate even if I wasn't finished.

"- so if you want to visit her be my guest! But don't expect me to take you there." He turns away scrubbing the dishes to ignore us.

"Dad-"

"I'm not visiting that bitch." I stand from the table and start wiping it down.

"So what you refuse to forgive what she did in the last? Aren't you always telling me to forgive and forget?" She grabs my arm to stop me from moving,

desperately trying to convince us to take her to that bitch.

"Matoko it's different when you're forgiving them for attempted murder and first hand murder." I pull my arm away continuing to clean.

"Why are you acting like children?" She stomps her foot acting like a child herself.

"So if I killed Karma and tried to kill you, you would run with open arms to forgive me? You would forgive me in a heartbeat? I don't forgive her for the abuse she put me through and trying to end my life. So if you really think of you were in my shoes you would forgive her?"

She looks as though she's finally realizing why he won't forgive her. Nagisa never really talks about what happened because he wanted a new life, not to live in the past.

But Matoko always loved the past.

She wanted to know everything that happened.

Even if she hurts someone's feelings.

She has always had difficulty understanding other's emotions.

Nagisa gose back to the dishes leaving an uncomfortable silence in the room.

Flash back over

"Fine" she walks over to Nagisa standing next to him.

"I'm sorry."

A/n This was a song challenge where you shuffle your playlist and the third song is the title, fifth song is the first line, eighth song is the last line. I did this because fuck you. Also #when you miss an update and realize it the next day ;-;, there's also a question I have for y'all.

How mad would you be if I made this just a one shot book? Like, not just Karma x Nagisa. I love the ship yes, but it feels like I'm forcing myself to write this when I have ideas for other ship's it's just that I don't have a book for them. So it will still be one shots, just not all of the one ship. Would you be mad? Or should I just end this book and start up a new one? Would you read that new one shot book?
