Me and Jonathan been calling jade all morning. The pack wanted to move on but we can't leave my daughter and sister behind. I understand they are scared but they know we stick together. No one is getting left behind.
I kept Jr warm in my arms as I looked around the woods. Jonathan was in his wolf form howling every minute to see if any other pack members would answer. Overall we have 90 members. We supposed to have 154 members with us. 64 of them are either taken away, dead, or got lost. The abandoned house didn't do us no good.
"How's Jr"
"He's fine. Still alive and warm"
"Don't worry, we'll find Jade. She's a strong girl"
"I know she is"
I looked at Jonathan who whimpered a little. We stop for a minute to rest. We walked for hours looking for a place to call home.
"Everyone warm up. We still have a long way to go"I said.
"We should of killed that bad hybrid when we had the chance"one of the pack member said. The others agreed with him.
"Jonathan we can't keep walking all day long. We have to rest and walk tomorrow"another pack member said.
"You can't just let us die out here Jonathan!!"they all protested standing up getting angry. I wanted to say something but I'm too weak to even speak up for him. I'm the Luna and I should say something.
"Enough"I mumble. But not loud enough for them to hear. "Enough please"I cried out to one of the pack members.
"Nah fuck that Luna!! He doesn't give a fuck about us!!"someone else yelled.
"SHUT UP!! ALL OF YOU!!!"Jonathan yelled making everyone shut up and sat down a bit. Others looked away from him. Some bowed to him. Even katana, somiya, and kevo. Jonathan wiped his eyes sniffling a bit. "Can't you see how bad I'm hurt!! I don't give a fuck about the house or what they done!! I knew they was coming for us, we're a threat to them!! But if we stick together and get through this, it will be all over!!"—"I don't know where my baby girl is!! I don't know where half my pack is!! I wish I can leave y'all behind and go find them myself but I can't!! I don't want to lose the rest of y'all"he teared up.
"If y'all want to leave and fend for yourself then go"kevo said. "We don't want to hear it"
I sat down on the ground so I can keep Jr warm. It's only a matter of time when he'll start crying for food. That's what we really need.
"Katana. Where's the caribou from here?"i ask.
"Near that lake over there. Sometimes they come for a drink but then they leave back to the woods over there"she pointed out.
"We need some food and water"I stood up walking over to Jonathan who transformed back to his wolf howling out.
"I need you to watch Jr for me"
"Where you going?"
"The pack needs to eat Jonathan. They need water as well"—"We're all weak and you know we can't battle no one right now"
"What if the hunt don't work? You never hunted before"
"Oh it'll work"
I walked away from him nodding my head to katana. She got up from the snow tapping somiya shoulder.
"To all my hunters who want to survive please listen to me"I said. "We're going hunting some caribou near the lake. Ima need for some of the pack members to build a fire. At least three or six so we can boil water to drink and burn the meat to eat"—"I know y'all are tired and want this to be over but if you do, you have to work with me. We're survivors"
Half of the males and females nodded they head and stood up. "We're with you Luna. Just tell us what to do"the male said.
