To get a Weapon (Villi Phase)

8 and Kai flew through the air and into the next phase. They both landed on their feet. Kai almost fell but he stabled himself.

"Are you ready 8! I think we can get a weapon here!"

"Yeah! Let's go!" She smiled and started to go into the stage. When they enter, they see an Octoseeker. They have to get past it to get a key to open a vault to go into another stage in the phase.

"You stay here, I don't want you to get hurt, ok?"

"Um ok, are you sure? I can go and get it."

"Yes, I'm sure I want to make sure you're safe."

"Yes, mister."

Kai quickly ran in to grab the key, but the Octoseeker saw him in the process. Kai ran as fast as he could but the Octoseeker was faster than he thought.

"8 catch!" He threw the Key and let 8 catch it. She ran over and unlocked the vault.

Just as the Octoseeker was about to come and smash down, Kai jumped out of the way slightly sliding on his stomach.

"Are you ok?" 8 said running over to him.

"Yeah I'm fine," he stood up brushing himself off. "Great catch 8!"

"Thank woo!"

"Alright! Let's go and get this weapon!"

8 stepped on the thing that opens the door and the way in. They jump down and see ink rails and octomistles that they had to pass.

"Are you ready?" Kai asked 8.

"Yeah!" She jumped up and down excitedly.

"Ok! Let's go!"

They ran up and jumped into the ink rails. They swam through dodging all of the Octomissiles flawlessly. They then saw boxes in the way of them getting their weapon- aka a splat bomb- so they had to think of a creative way to break them.

"I have an idea!" 8 exclaimed. She saw an Octarian guarding the boxes. "We can make at shoot at us and let it break the boxes!"

"That's a great idea!" Kai shouted.

So they when in making shire to dodge the bullets of ink and make it go for one certain box. After a little while of them doing this one of the boxes finally broke. They gave each other a high five and they then saw two bombs on the floor. They picked them up and stored them. Kai picked one of his up and threw it at two boxes that were blocking their way and they went back to where they were originally.

They saw a platform on the floor that could only be activated with ink, so they used their bombs and opened the door that was in front of them. They when on to see a moving platform that could only be activated with ink. So they used their bombs and made it through and went to an area that was hard to get past, but they got past it and they got a canned weapon!
They then had to swim up a wall and then jump back to the main area. They had to get to the wall behind the Octoseeker.

The looked at each other and nodded, running as fast as they could to get to the next area. The Octoseeker saw them, but they had to keep going. When they were already halfway up the wall the Octo seeker blocked them. They were terrified, but They kept trying. As it stomped down they found themselves climbing up the ink and to the platform that was above them.

"We did it!" 8 said excitedly.

"Yeah we did, but we're not done yet." Kai pointed at the part ahead of them.

They made their way through. They finally made it!

"I can't believe we did it!" Kai said.

"Me too."

"Well, only a few more stages right?"

"Yeah."

"Time for the next stage, let's go."
