At first, everything was black. Kai couldn't hear a sound or remember anything that happened when he was unconscious. He just remembered seeing black.

Kai woke up, his eyes focused on the white ceiling. He sat up seeing himself in a bed, in a room that was almost completely white with come curtains on one side of him.

Kai took deep breaths and looked around, its place was almost completely empty. He knew it wasn't his apartment because it did not look like this.

Kai looked at his arm to see a needle poking into it. On the needle was a tube that connected to a blood bag that was half full.

Kai blinked, he knew where he was, but he never knew that he would be here. He didn't think he would ever end up in a place like this. He was in a hospital!

Kai's eyes widened, but he couldn't compel himself to speak. Kai swung his feet across the bed to the edge. His feet dangled there, carefully wrapped in badges halfway up his shin.

He moved his feet cautiously, expecting pain but to his surprise, there was none, well there was a little pain but not too much.

Suddenly the door opened and Niki, Sol, and star came through the door.

"Hey, bud!" Sol ran over to him a look of concern on his face. "I heard what happened. Do you.... remember me?" He asked, almost choking on his words.

"Yes, well almost. Bits and pieces are coming back to me."

"So you know my name?"

"Yeah, it's Sol you're my best friend," Kai smiles and a look of relief washes over Sol.

Kai looks around to see if he could see 8 but he didn't see her. "Where's 8?" He asked looking around the room.

"You mean Kaia? She is also here. She had to get stitches on her back. She had big gash on it." Niki said.

"R-really?!"

"Yeah, it had the green stuff around it, the sanitization."

"O-oh no," Kai's voice was timid and soft.

"She's okay, oh and she has gotten most of her memories back. But she doesn't have a home. Though, Brinn did bond with her on the helicopter ride here..." Niki said with a grin.

Kai smiled and his face brightens up. "So when am I allowed to leave? I have some memories I need to remember!" A smile crosses his face.

"Well you not allowed to leave 'till tomorrow, but you'll be ok!" Star said.

"Oh ok, well I guess I can wait.

"Oh by the way Kai, you're not allowed to walk on your feet for a while, your gonna have to use a wheelchair."

"Aw sweet! I have always wanted to use a wheelchair! They look so fun! I can't wait!" Kai smiled.

"Well anyway we should probably get going," Niki said with a smile.

"See you later Kai!" Sol smiled and waved goodbye.

"Bye Kai! I hope you get better!"

"Bye Sol, Bye Niki, and thank you Star! I can't wait to see you again!"

Kai laid back down in the hospital bed looking back up at the ceiling. He already felt better, and he kinda wanted to leave, but he knew he couldn't. A little while later, Kai's eyes slowly become heavy and he drifted away to sleep.
