Niki??? And Agent 3's ???(Spinal Phase part 1)

8 and Kai flew through the site once again and landed on the floor. In front of them stood a tall elevator with a grind rail for them to get across to it. They both just stood there for a second. They eyed the elevator before they got on the grind rail.
     
After a while they finally got on the grind rail, there feet scraping across the grind rail was the only thing that they heard as it echos through the big and almost empty space.
     
The grind rails, of course, hurt Kai's feet as they scraped Against it but he ignored the pain as they we're almost there.

At the end of the grind, rail track was a gigantic elevator, bigger than they thought it was, they both looked at each other with a determined face and then walked into the elevator.
     
There was a slight humming noise that the elevator made, but it echoed in through the room and it made the sound louder.

"So are you ready?" Kai sat down on the cold elevator floor, so he could rest.

8 looked at him with a smile on her face. She sat down on her knees next to him and nods.

"Well, I'm finally ready to see what's up there, to see if I recognize it may be, and I'm ready to find Niki and the rest of them." Kai smiled looking off into the distance, as far as he could.

8 smiled and looked off into the same direction that Kai did, trying to find what he was looking at.

Suddenly the elevator stopped with a slight jerk. Kai was up on his feet and he had a broad stance, ready to fight. 8 got up too, she scrambled to her feet, matching Kai's stance but smaller.

"What was that?" 8 asked as a small shake was visible from her hands.

"I don't know, but I would watch your back." Kai looked around the elevator trying to find an answer to what was going on, and he soon got one.

A cylinder platform was overhead it stopped just before it enters the elevator. Two figures one male and one female stood on the top of it back facing them. Under the platform was Captain Cuttlefish and Niki, Unconscious.

"Y-you gotta get ya out of here!" Captain Cuttlefish said in a panic as he jostled the rope that he was tied under.

"Don't move anymore then you can! You don't want to fall from this height!" Kai snapped.

It was silent for over a second, but that second wasn't enough for them to prepare for what they had to do next.

The two figures turned towards them, they looked familiar, they were familiar. It was Both Agent 3's! Except they were.... different. They had a glowing goo on there face, the same color as the green looking stuff in the tests, or the Octarians. Something told them that they were not here to congratulate them.

"8?" Kai said trying to make his voice sound calm but it still came out slightly panicked.

"Yes?" She looked at him confused, but his eyes were still placed in the same spot.

"Run," his eyes widened as they did a double splash down in front of them.

The force of the splashdown pushed 8 and Kai backward and made them fall. Kai shielded his eyes as the ink was forced towards them.

Kai stood up immediately afterward helping 8 up off the ground. The two Inklings started towards them in a slow but ominous fashion, there was nowhere to go.
     
Kai looked at 8 who was now close to him because she was scared, and signaled to her to move when he does a finger command. As both Agent 3's walk even closer, and closer to them Kai gave the signal.
     
8 and Kai jumped out of the way giving them an open to shoot at them with there ink. Suddenly they paused and then looked at them and then they pulled out a special, curling bombs. As they ran, the ink flew everywhere, bursting into their faces. They tried with all their might to splat them, and they did, well almost.
     
Both Agent Threes fell to the floor covered in ink, with their armor broken, they jumped back and onto the moving cylinder where they stood there for a second.
     
Kai has a puzzled look in his face when he looked up at the male agent 3 like he knew him.
     
"Are you ok Mister Kai?" 8 asked tilting her head.
     
"I don't know," sweat dripped down his face. "There is just something I recognize about that guy."
     
"Oh..."
     
Before they could finish they both came splashing down, making ink cover their faces once again. Kai and 8 ran in opposite directions trying to get at least one to follow each of them.
     
The Agent 3's apparently had another special, it was a baller! The female was chasing Kai while the male chased 8.
     
They both ran around, avoiding them until there special ran out. They had to jump out of the way because at the end of there special their baller filled with ink and explodes.
     
Once that happens, 8 and Kai have an opening to break their armor. They go after them and Kai splats the girl for the second time. 8 runs up the boy and tries to splat him, but he dodged her attack! When she tries to defend the boy sprays ink on her back and she winces falling to the floor. Kai run and while he wasn't looking, Kai splats him.
     
Kai rushes over to 8, "Are you ok?" He looks at the very concerned, his hands trembling.
       
8 sits up with tears running down her face and nods but doesn't look convincing.
     
"8, what hurts?" Kai looked at her in the eyes trying to find an answer.
     
"M-my back, it hurts wrealy bad.... I-I think it's because of the bomb attached to my back when I did the tests." She sniffled trying to hold back more tears.
     
"Hey, this is almost over, once this is done we can get you to a doctor to see what's going on okay?"
     
"Okay..."
      
"Speaking of over where is-" before he could finish a beam of Ink started to spray through the elevator, and Inkray. "We need to run."
     
Kai picked up 8 and started to run across the stage, he didn't know what to do next.
