"Hello? Where am I?" Kaile looked around trying to make sense of what just happened.

He walked around he started to notice that everyone looked different from what they originally looked like in Octo Valley. They were all..... Inklings!

Kaile got excited because he remembered his friend Brianna and how nice she was. He then ran up to an inkling, not feeling scared and tugged on their shirt.

"Excuse me, ma'am, have you seen my sister?" He asked.

"No I have-" she looked down at Kaile and her eyes widened.
"Ahhhhhhh!!!! An Octarian!"

Kaile looked at her confused "I'm sorry but I don't understand." He said respectfully

"Back off you little monster!" A man jumped in front of her as if he were protecting her.

Kaile took a step back. He was confused and started to get scared. The inkling was started to gang up on him and trying to make him leave.

"I-I'm sorry... did I do something wrong?" He said with tears welling up in his eyes.

"You and your army will not fool us! Go away, you spy!" One of the inklings shouted at him.

Kaile started to feel the hot tears run down his face. He was shaking vigorously. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't know I did something wrong!" He said. "I'm just looking for my sister!"

"Leave this place!" One of the inklings said backing off.

They all started to leave giving Kaile intense looks. Kaile found himself sitting on a curve by himself and with this blanket. He started to cry.

"Why! Why does this have to happen? I want my sister!" He hugged his knees and cried into them when he then felt a sudden tap on his shoulder. He looked up to see an inkling looking down at him. He looked around his age but he couldn't tell.

"Excuse me but your knee is bleeding."

"Oh, it is?" Kaile looked down at it.

"I have an extra bandage if you need it. I carry them with me."

"Really?! I would love one!" Kaile froze. "But you can't give one to me."

"Why not?" The inkling asked.

"Because I'm not an inkling, I'm an Octoling."

He took a step back, "you are?!"

"Yeah..... I'm not wanted here...." Kaile frowned hugging his knees tighter.

"Are you here to hurt us?"

"No! Why would I do that?!"

"Then why are you here?"

"I ran away from Octo valley with my sister, but then she got taken so now it's just me."

"Why did you run away?"

"Because my momma was going to do experiments on me that could kill me..... my mama injected me with this thing that makes you super sleepy and I passed out."

"What really?!"

"Yeah, my sister saved me and she said that we will see each other again but I'm worried that she won't ever come back..."

"I'm sure she will come back!" The inkling when up to him and pulled out his extra bandage.

"What are you doing? I thought you couldn't."

"I know Octarians, and you don't seem like one of the mean ones."

"Really?! So you don't think I'm a monster?"

"No, and I know what they look like, they take you away from your family!"

"What? Are you ok? What happened?"

"My parents sold me to the Octarians so that they can do experiments on me. They hurt me badly, but I'm ok."

"Oh alright, is that why you carry bandages?"

"Yeah, I had to get twelve stitches on my stomach because of the Octarians, and three on my eyebrow."

"Woah, I never knew that Octarians was so mean!"

"Yeah...."

"Well, I'm not like that! I promise!"

"I believe you."

"What?! You do! I thought you would just-"

"I can tell you not like them, you wouldn't come here dressed the way you are or act so clueless"

"So you really do believe me?"

"Yeah."

"So does that mean we can be friends? We can go back to where your parents are!"

"My parents disowned me, I don't think they will accept us. I live on the streets, I'm going to be able to get a job in a few years tho! So it'll be good!"

"Really?!"

"Yeah, and about that friend thing, sure!"

"Yay! What's your name? My name is Kaile!"

"My name is Solar, but I make everyone call me Sol."

"That's cool! It is very nice to meet you Solar, well, I mean Sol! I'm glad I have a friend!"

"Yeah, me too."

Then just like that, they were friends Kaile and Sol. They were both ready to embark on a journey together, as new friends.
