There's a wall up;
it's locked my limbs but
kept my eyes peeled
despite only there being
so much that I can see.
In all strictness, I see light
peeking through the tulle,
and I'm sick of wearing this fabric
and putting myself at-risk
for ridicule.
I take what I see, on a positive note,
trying to make this feel more comfortable,
and I learn.
I learn and for a moment or more over time,
I'm convinced that I know all.
The feeling lingers.
