you were more individual
and shrouded in your wings
so velvety like blankets,
even when sitting by the pond alone
and preferring a table to yourself.
You lived in your head
with little to no daydreams
but worries of the world around you.
You were dainty and sweet
with emotions so fragile;
a holographic vase.
