Feathers like my
kisses for
the past thirteen years;
she's my baby
no matter how old or frail.
Like her,
time caught up with me
into a frozen moment
essentially no different
than her
prolonged sleep in guilt
for no reason;
I still love her,
my baby penguin-cat.
