To take my power back
is a deeper threat
than the fucking Mariana Trench,
though I was crushed
by suffocation
and thinking only
a certain way
nowadays;
in pure and utter guilt
so blended
with the way I was raised,
marveling all around
at what I missed;
unfamiliar.
But if I could take my power back,
I gotta get crushed
by the environment
above the sea;
that's how I learn
about the difficulties
life meant to show me.
