Reminiscence entangled in
the velvet of yellow and blue, and
irony explained the place
where I could've been to meet you;
cradling my every sway
when walking and I imagined
how enticing it must've been to hear your
warm and sophisticated talking,
letting your heart swim in its own
glistening blood of emotions so pure
within even the most minuscule words
and silent giggles.
The memories I know about
that I haven't endured with you
replayed themselves;
scorching heat
alongside that against my back
and what made the sleeves.
Your younger days are my present
times two;
a present of the present.
