Far from my location,
a dream in ruins,
and my heart's in a capsule
as to stop feeding from all that's fantastical;
the building holds a paradise,
or memories of years gone by
but it's in ruins.
Separate
from bricks of a brand new color
while the glow is too great
but a toxin seeps in me, must I smother
cuz it's all in ruins;
my second home away
but almost as close as my hands.
What would I give to stay?
What stone made this, darker than sand?
An alien palace
taken out of malice,
yet stuck in my subconscious
cuz it's in ruins.
