Wishing to be
worth the sacrifice
as traced along your figure,
but with two arms
filling what's been dry
for years, the opposite your signature.
I don't stack up
even as we're parted,
in fact a stab from a melody
being your voice
and a reminder of your face
drew my bloodiest tears and
poisoned my bile.
