I felt the glimmer in my eye
through the citrus sunset
shrouding the finish-lines of bays
all around, and
pouring out of my heart
and seeping through
my imagination;
a spark of creativity
and wonder of the unknown
as if revisiting the known
wasn't exciting enough.
Sitting in one place
sent me astray
but fed me the senses
at the glance of old magazines;
the eggy water became
my astringent
and took years off of me.
I felt as young as I was
when the shore became
a new chakra of mine,
when it turned-into my cognition
while I was enticed by everything.
