(A/N: Okay so! Lemme explains cuz you're probably all like "she definitely stole this idea from another story on here" that is NOT the case 😭 I've had the idea for a cabin one shot for a couple months and I recently just read the story myself! It was so cute too 💙 I didn't know it existed when I thought of this one so I'm not cheating, I promise 🥺 anyways, on with the one shot!)

Nami and Robin asked you to tag along with them and the three brothers out to a cabin in the woods for a week. The three of you have been working a lot, so the one week break was well needed. Luffy suggested the idea to the two women and since they didn't want to bring a random girl that wasn't used to the brothers antics, they asked you to come with them.

Currently you are at said cabin with them. It's late at night and you're up in the living room sitting next to a lamp, reading, "What are you doing up this late?" You heard someone ask.

You looked up from your book and seen the blond brother, Sabo, standing in front of you. You blushed softly but hid behind your book, "I-I could be asking you the same thing." You spoke, softly.

You didn't really hang around the brothers as much as Nami and Robin did, but you've always had a soft spot for Sabo. Luffy was over at the house that you three girls shared and every so often he'd bring his two brothers with him. You always stayed to yourself though, so they didn't really pay you any mind...except Sabo.

He always tried to make small talk with you, but you never said much, that didn't stop him from trying though. He'd ask you about yourself and find something that would get you to start running your mouth, but even then you only said a few more words than usual.

Then he'd just try to make you laugh. That wasn't very hard though, it doesn't take much to get you to laugh, but he was always doing it. How could you not fall for him? Nami and Robin knew about your feelings toward him so they tried to get Luffy to bring Sabo over every time he came by, "I couldn't sleep." Sabo said, "So I decided to go for a swim out in the lake."

"I couldn't sleep either." I muttered, finally noticing that he was shirtless and in a pair of swimming trunks.

"You can join me if you want. All the swimming might tire you out." The blond suggested.

You thought about it for a second and gave in, "I'll come. I'll just go change and be back...you don't have to wait for me." You stood up and went to your room to change into your swimsuit.

~~~
You walked back into the living, towel wrapped around yourself, and seen Sabo still standing there, waiting for you, "You didn't have to wait for me." You reminded him.
"I know, but I wanted to." Thank goodness you weren't standing near the lap, he'd see the red on your cheeks.
"U-uh okay." You sputtered and you both headed to the lake.
***
You both reached the lake and Sabo was the first one in. You stood off to the side, a little nervous that something would go wrong or you would embarrass yourself.
"The water's fine, (y/n)!" You heard Sabo shout from where he was in the lake and he swam closer to you. You nodded with a soft sigh and took off the towel that was currently wrapped around you, "Is (f/c) your favorite color?" He asked while you stepped into the surprisingly warm water.
You nodded, "Yeah, why?"
"Just asking, you wear it a lot." He pointed out. Your cheeks redden at his sentence. Sadly, the position of the moon had the light shining on you, making the blush evident. Sabo let out a laugh, shaking his head dismissively, "Don't worry, it looks good on you."
Your cheeks turned a darker shade, "Thanks." You mumbled, stepping into the surprisingly warm lake water, "Do you do this all the time?"
"What? Take a light night swim when I can't sleep? No, but I usually sit outside on the porch though." He chuckled and you rolled your eyes, "Do you often stay up this late?"
You shook your head, "Just had some stuff on my mind that kept me awake." You walker deeper into the lake and stopped when the water reached your waist.
"Do you mind if I ask what was on your mind? You don't have to tell me if it's personal."
You smiled softly, he was always so concerned, "I mean, it's kind of personal, but it involves you so I can't refuse." You admitted.
"Oh man, did I do something wrong? I hope I didn't piss you off or anything!"
You laughed at his worried state, "If I was upset with you, do you think I would be out here with you?"
His cheeks turned a light pink, "You have a point."
You giggled as you moved further into the water to where you feet couldn't feel the ground. Eventually you went underwater, coming back up a few seconds later. Sabo gave you a questioning look, "I didn't want you to be the only one soaking wet." You told him.
"You could've asked me, I would've had you soaking one way or another." He smirked.
"Your true colors are showing you pervert." You responded.
"Why do you say that? I was talking about splashing you. Maybe your true colors are the ones that are showing, since you don't really say much."
"Oh, nice one." You laughed at his comment.
"Now what was it that involved me that kept you up? You can't just say that and not tell me." The blond moved closer to you.
"U-um...I guess I just realized something and wanted to come to terms with it." You twiddled your thumbs, might as well go through with it. There's no turning back now.
Sabo tilted his head, "What'd you realize?"
"....My feelings for you..." You uttered.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you. What was that?" He held a hand up to his ear and you glared at him. You knew damn well he heard you.
"D-Don't make me repeat m-myself."
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He chuckled, "I just wanted to lighten the mood a bit, you sounded sad."
"Because it's stupid of me. I know you don't like me back." You confessed.
"What makes you so sure of that?"
You shrugged you shoulders, "You don't have to return your feelings out of pity. I can't handle being rejected." All of a sudden, you felt a pair of lips pressed against yours and hands wrapped around your waist. You returned the action, wrapping your arms around his neck instead and hoped the night wouldn't end, the both of you staying like this forever.
