"He's here again?!" You groaned as you walked with Nami inside the house where a party was being thrown.

"Oh c'mon, (y/n)!" Nami sighed, "He's a really sweet guy when you get to know him!"

"I already know him. I know how sweet and kind he is I just," You paused, "I just don't see him that way and I don't...really want a relationship right now."

"You hesitated." She pointed out and you rolled your eyes. Damn her and her perceptive ways, "You know you like him too! I don't why you keep fighting it!"

We both walked into the party and was bombarded with a bunch of dancing drunks, "Oh! They have drinks! I'm going get wasted!" Nami exclaimed and ran straight to the booze. It's not like she can get wasted anyways, she's great at holding her liquor...unlike you.

You're on your fifth cup of alcohol and you are completely plastered, dancing your ass off and having a good time. You didn't feel like dealing with people so you danced with yourself, "Hey beautiful, you wanna dance with me?" A voice asked.

"N-Nah no th-thankss, I'm guuuuud." You spoke through your intoxicated stated, sobering up a bit, 'I might need another cup.' You thought.

"Oh c'mon, you're dancing right now, just dance with me, even if it's for a little bit." He said.

'This guy is so damn persistent...reminds me of...' You gave the random guy a glare as you became even more sober, "No thank you." You said sternly. The guy then grabbed your arm.

"Why are you being such a bitch? I just want to dance." He said and started to drag you closer to him.

"And I told you that I don't want to dance with you. Let me go, you-"

"The lady said no." Another arm appeared and grabbed the guys wrist.

'Oh great, a third party intervention.' You thought rolling your eyes, "You didn't have to st-" You stopped when you seen blond curly hair.

"Damn, you could've just said you had a boyfriend." The guy said and yanked his arm away.

"It's not like you would leave me alone if I told you that anyways." You mumbled as he walked away, "I need another drink. I'm sober again." You said, "Thanks Sabo." Was all you told him and walked away.

Another hour passed, six more cups. You started feeling sick but that didn't get you down, nor did the idea of waking up with a hangover. You just wanted to have fun. You started feeling a little hazy as you danced with another cup full of alcohol. You decided to savor this one instead downing it like the last...eleven you had. You wondered where Nami was as you danced, but you weren't too worried. You knew she could handle herself. Suddenly, everything went black.

•••

The sun beamed through the blinds onto your sleeping face, which caused you to stir in your sleep and wake up, "You damn sun, let me sleep." You mumbled as you sat up with a groan. You looked around the room and realized, this isn't your room. You started to panic, hoping you didn't do anything regrettable while in your drunken state.

You tried to find clues, your clothes folded next to you instead thrown all over the room, they were clean. You aren't naked, you checked under the large shirt you had on. Panties and bra still on? Check. You looked over to the nightstand next to you and seen pills and a cup of water.

You completely forgot about your hangover while you were trying to figure out your current situation. Nami must be worried sick! You checked your phone, which surprisingly wasn't dead yet and seen no messages or missed calls from said orange head. What in the hell? "You're awake now?" You heard a voice and stiffened as he walked into the room.

You let out a breath when you realized who it was, a little relieved that it was someone you knew. You finally took the pills, not worried that it was poisoned or something, "What time is it?" You asked the blond that stood next to the bed, guessing it was his.

"It's almost 2 pm." Sabo informed and you practically jumped out of the bed.

"2 pm?! I was sleep for that long?! Holy shit!"

"Well, to be fair," He started, "You didn't really go to sleep until about 5 in the morning."

You put your face in your hands as you let out an aggravated sigh, "Drunk me is a literal child." Sabo chuckled at the statement.

"I have some takeout if you're hungry." Sabo said and you nodded.

"I'm starved." You both then headed to his kitchen.

You both ate in silence. You didn't really have much to say to him. You both were no closer than just friends, but you knew he liked you and he knew that you knew. Neither one of you have yet to address the situation, which makes it awkward every time you encountered one another.

There was silence between the both of you for a couple more minutes before you finally spoke, "Um, thanks...for this. I don't really know what happened after I blacked out and I really don't want to know, but if there's anyway I can repay you just let me know." You told him and stuffed your face with food to hide your embarrassment.

"You don't have to thank me...I'm just doing what...friends do." He said softly.

"Well at least let me repay you dealing with drunk me. I know she is a handful, Nami told me."

Sabo laughed again and you couldn't help but smile. He has a cute laugh, you couldn't deny that, "If that's the case then..." He went silent as he thought, "There's a movie coming out Friday that looks really interesting and I don't want to see it alone...do you mind coming with me to that?" He asked.

You stared at him, sighing internally, "Are you asking me out on a date?" You raised a brow.

"It can be one if you want it to be." He said.

'This is unnecessarily difficult. This is exactly why I avoid relationships.' You held back the urge to rub your temples, "Before I give you an answer. I need you to ask me that again, but with the idea of it being a date."

Sabo gave you a confused look, "Um, alright?" He straightened up a bit, "(Y/n), do you want to go to the movies with me Friday?"

You gave him a small smile, "I would love to."
