"It sucks that you were the only one that could help me today." You told your blond friend as you poured the paint into a paint tray, tossing him a paint roller.

"Why does it suck? You didn't want me to come? I'll just leave then." He pouted.

You laughed, "No, I didn't mean it like that! It'll just be a lot quicker with more people. This is a huge living room." You whined and got to work on repainting your living room.

"Why'd you decide to repaint it anyways?"

"Sabo, look at the color. It looks like puke. Why would I keep it?!"

"I think it looks nice." He defended.

"Alright, let's paint your walls this color next." You laughed.

"I said I liked it, I didn't say I wanted it."

"Maybe if we play so music the time will go by faster." You said and went over to your Bluetooth speaker and played anything and went back to painting your walls.

A song you really liked started playing after a while and you couldn't help but dance to it. You swayed your hips as you painted and hummed the lyrics, adding a little spin every once in a while.

You heard Sabo chuckle and looked his way, "What's so funny?" You asked, placing your hand on your hips.

"You're enjoying yourself when you were complaining earlier." He told you, mimicking your actions.

"Well why don't you join me since you're just standing there." You walked over to him.

"Oh no, I don't dance."

"Well, you will now." You grabbed his hands and pulled him to you.

"I swear I have two left feet, (y/n)." He tried to convince you.

"I can't dance either, but that ain't stopping me." You smiled at him and his cheeks turned a light shade of pink.

You held his hands the whole time the both of you danced, "How'd you get paint all on your face?" Sabo asked.

"Like this." You rubbed your fingers across his cheek, smearing wet paint onto his face and let go of his hands to get a good distance between the both of you and laughed.

"So it's like that, huh?" He asked devilishly and got some wet paint on his hands, "Two can play that game."

You squealed as Sabo chases you around the living room and soon it became an all out war. You both were covered in paint, good thing you covered the floor with the tarp, that'd be one hell of a clean up.

After a bit you both were laid out on the floor, out of breath and energy. The music was still playing and you were just listening to it, "Hey Sabo." You called out to him.

"Yes?"

"You got something on your face."

"You do too. It's in your hair too." Sabo turned on his side to face you, "You know we gotta finish these walls, right?"

You let out a sigh, "Sadly, yes, but I'm so tired. Can you finish them for me?"

"I should be asking you that. You're the one that asked your friends for help."

"About that..." You twiddled your thumbs and Sabo raised a brow, "I uh...I only asked you to help me. I lied about everyone else not being able to make, I never asked them to begin with." You admitted.

"You know I was gonna come regardless. You didn't have to lie to me about it." He spoke softly, almost like a whisper.

"I know, but I thought that if I told you that you were the only one I had asked, you might've told everyone else and I just wanted it to be us two." You said sheepishly.

He let out a short laugh, "You got me there, but why'd you want it to be just us two?"

"Why do you ask so many questions?" You sighed, "Because, I wanted to tell you something with no one else around." He gave me a confused look, "Well...I...I have feelings for you. Like, more than friends. I've had these feelings for a while now and I couldn't bear it any longer. So I just wanted to get that off my chest." You turned away from you, you couldn't even look him in the face, "It's fine if you don't feel the same, I just want us to still be good friends after this."

Sabo hovered over you, looking you dead in your eyes, "Who said I didn't feel the same?"

"You and these damn questions." You giggled, "I don't know, I just didn't think you'd feel the same."

"Well, I do. I'm just a little upset that you said something before I did."

"Oh, so I beat you to the punch, huh? Don't I always do that?" You wrapped your arms around his neck.

"I guess it was always meant to be that way." He smirked, leaning to finally give you the kiss you've been waiting for.

After a few seconds Sabo pulled back, "I've been wanting to do that for so long." You declared.

"There are some things I've been wanted to do with you but I can wait a little longer to do that." He winked.

"Oh? Why don't you go ahead and show me those things." You invited, pulling him in for another kiss.

The kiss quickly turned into a make out session and both of your hands began to roam. You felt one of Sabo's hand snake up your shirt and softly grip your covered chest, "(Y/n)? Everything okay? You left your door unlo- Oh!"

You movements stopped and you looked at the person that ruined the moment and seen Nami, "I'll uh...I'll come back later. You two seem pretty busy." She smirked as she turned around and headed for the door.

You and Sabo laughed and got up from your position, finally getting back to finishing your living room. The paint that's already on the wall is probably almost dry now.
