You weren't completely under the influence when it happened, but neither was he. So how'd you end up in bed with this random man? You looked at the blond male that laid in most likely his bed, snoring away.

You quickly and quietly put on your clothes to head home, hoping to get there in time so you can wash up and not be late to work. 'Ugh, I won't go clubbing for a while.' You thought, putting on your heels. You looked at the sleeping male again, getting a better look of his face, 'He's actually pretty cute. I most likely won't ever see him again though.' You grabbed yourself purse and left.

"I can't believe you let me leave with some rando last night." You complained to your friend and coworker as you both headed to your workplace.

"Hey, I didn't let you. One second you were standing next to me drinking and next thing I knew, you disappeared and I couldn't find you." She tried to defend herself and you let a sigh.

"Well, I'm just glad it wasn't a homeless guy or something."

"So, did you guys exchange numbers?" She asked.

"I don't even know the guys name, plus I left before he woke up. I needed to freshen up. Can't come to work wearing the same outfit I had on the day before. That's gross."

Your friend groaned, "Why are you so difficult? You can't be late to work just one day?"

"No, I need to be reliable." You said and you both entered the building of your job.

"You're only saying that because you know you don't have anyone waiting for you at home. You need you a boyfriend or something. A fuck buddy. Friends with benefits. Anything at this point."

"Let's not have this conversation right now. My love life is the least important thing to me right now. I want to establish myself first before worrying about dating." You both stepped into the elevator.

It was only you, your friend and one other person on the elevator, but they were stacked full of paperwork. You kind of felt bad for them, "Well, maybe if you had someone at home, you wouldn't be so stress and you wouldn't have-"

"Please don't finish that sentence." You cut off your friend and the three of you stood in silence as you waited for the elevator to reach the floor you selected.

The elevator dinged as the doors opened, which signaled that you were on your floor. You and you friend moved quickly to get out of the guy's way. Suddenly the files went everywhere. Your jaw dropped when you realized he had to pick all of it up by himself, "Well, I'm gonna go ahead and get to work. We're already almost late." Your friend said.

"You go ahead, I'll help him pick up the papers." You told her and she shrugged her shoulders and left.

"Let me help you." You squatted down in front of the guy and helped him pick up the papers.

"Oh, no you don't have to." He said. The voice sounded familiar, but you paid no mind to it.

"This is a lot of paper for someone to pick up by themse- it's you!" You fell back when you realized who it was, dropping the current papers you had in your hands.

The blond looked up at you in confusion until it finally clicked, "Oh, hey! You were the last person I'd expect to see here." He said sheepishly.

"I-I should be saying the same." You were still a little startled but started helping him pick up the papers again.

~~~
You both walked to the file room carrying half of the stack of papers. It was a silent walk until your curiosity couldn't handle it, "How long have you been working here?" You asked him.
"About a couple months." That explains why you're just now seeing him, "What about you?"
"I've been here for about two years now." You told him, "What's your name?"
"Sabo, I'm pretty sure you asked me last night, but I guess you don't remember that."
You shot him a look, but now that you have a good look at him, he looked young...really young, "How old are you?"
"You didn't even tell me your name." He pointed out.
"Oh sorry, I'm (Y/n)." You both shook hands, "And I'm sure I told you mine, since you were moaning it last night." You whispered and he blushed, making you laugh, "I'm 24, by the way." You added.
"22." He mumbled, still a little flustered. He's younger, but not by that much.
~~~

"He works here?!" Your friend was bewildered when you told her what happened while on your lunch break, "It's definitely fate! You two were meant to be!"

You rolled your eyes, "Nah, I think it was just a coincidence. Nothing more."

"Oh c'mon, (y/n)! He's really cute too, you should definitely get to know him more."

"Okay, I'm gonna go back to work before you dump all this fate stuff on me." You told her as you stood up and walked back to your cubicle.

"You can't deny fate!" She said and you sighed.

~~~
When you got back to your cubicle you seen a sticky note on your computer. Thinking it was from your boss, you simply took it off of it and stuck it next to your keyboard until something stood out. You picked up the sticky note and read it.
'(XXX)-XXX-XXXX,
Call me if you wanna have another good time ;)
~Sabo <3'
You smirked and put the sticky note in your wallet, your friend may have been right this time.
(A/n: Was Sabo out of character? I think so, but I wanted to try something a little different, if it was different.)
