Valentine

(A/n: Valentine's Day is this week as I'm typing this, so it's my inspiration for this one-shot. I in fact don't fw this day, not because I'm single. It's just that people like to show off with their gifts they've got/given and it's so stupid imo, anyway. Enjoy 😊)

High School AU (I lower Robin's age so she wouldn't be a teacher hanging around a bunch of high schoolers.... That's weird.)

You, Nami and Luffy were sitting at the lunch table, waiting for everyone else to arrive before you went to get lunch, "What are you two doing for Valentine's Day?" You asked the couple.

"Just going out to eat. It's just another normal day honestly." Nami spoke.

You nodded, agreeing with her, "Couldn't say it better myself but people usually say I'm just jealous because I'm single whenever I say it." You sighed and Nami rolled her eyes.

"Stop whining." You heard Zoro say as he walked over, Usopp, Sanji and Robin followed suit.

"I'm not whining, idiot. I'm stating facts. You act like I'm complaining about being single." You shot him a glare.

"(Y/n)-swan~! How could someone as beautiful as you be single~!?" Sanji asked and you shrugged your shoulders.

"Your secret admirer should go ahead and confess." Robin said and everyone agreed.

Yep, you had a secret admirer. You really couldn't lay a finger on who it was but you never really bothered to look. Nami and Robin have been doing it for you. They've been leaving notes in your locker, on your car, and on the lunch table you sat at. Did you find it weird? Yes, but you overlooked it as someone being too shy to speak up since you didn't always have a friendly look on your face. It's a habit, a lot of times you get asked "what's wrong" but eventually, everyone stopped asking when they figured out it was just your look, "Maybe they'll finally confess to you on Valentine's Day!" Nami suggested and you shrugged.

"Still talking about (Y/n)'s secret admirer?" You turned around and saw Ace and Sabo heading your way.

"Yeah, she's complaining about being single again." Luffy said and you immediately snapped at him.

"I was not! Why do you guys always think I'm complaining about being single!?" You questioned.

"Because, you're the only one out of us that doesn't have someone." Usopp pointed out.

"Usopp, I swear to god...plus I'm not the only one here that's single. Sabo is too!" You defended.

"Hey, woah. Don't drag me into this." Sabo said as he started chuckling at your misery.

"You could at least help me out here!"

"Yeah, help her get rid of her loneliness." Usopp joked, earning snickers from everyone.

"Usopp, I'll make sure you wake tomorrow morning with a normal sized nose. Quit it." You threatened.

"Kaya likes this nose, thank you very much." He retorted and you scoffed.

The day of Valentine's has finally arrived. The only thing excited you most was the candy that would be on sale the very next day. You arrived on campus and was immediately met with a whole bunch of couples with balloons and stuff animals. You scoffed at the idiotic people spending their money on their girlfriends/boyfriends on holidays, birthdays and anniversaries only when they could do it whenever they felt like they should. 'Stupid.' You thought as you headed inside and went to the cafeteria for breakfast, "(Y/n)! Awww, you didn't dress up for today?" Nami questioned as you neared the table.
