Beep Beep. That's my alarm. It is 8 o'clock in the morning. Time for school, and I am late as usual. Because of the weird and scary incident that happened last night, I reached home at 4 in the morning and got a mere four hours of sleep. I was so tired last night that I had fallen asleep in the dress that I was wearing, and with my make-up on.

I looked at myself in the mirror. My eyes had a smoky black eye-shadow look due to my mascara and black eyeliner smudging together. Great. It was so hard to stand, but somehow I pushed my body up. I desperately needed energy so, after brushing my teeth, I went straight to the coffee machine to make some delicious black coffee. I wore skinny blue high-waisted jeans with a white crop-top and a black flannel tied around my waist. My outfit was cute and comfortable, and so much better than the dress and high heels I was wearing last night, which had caused my legs to hurt. I combed my hair into a high ponytail and put on some lip gloss. It is the only makeup I like wearing.

Last night's look was done by Susan because she loves make-up, not me. I took my bag and filled it with the books that I needed for school today, and I was ready. I locked the front door, and immediately went next door to Susan's. She has a lot of explaining to do, after leaving me alone at the party with a stranger who almost attacked me. I knocked three times. This is actually the signal I do whenever I come to meet her so that she knows it's me. After ten minutes, Susan opened the door.

"I am so sorry!"

"For what?" I asked. Ignoring her, I started walking in the direction of the school. Susan was pretty well dressed. She was wearing a maroon crop-top and a pleated skirt with a matching chunky necklace. Her blonde her was straightened and her make-up were on point. I wonder how she gets the time to look so good.

"For everything." She looked at me with those puppy-dog eyes that I can never say no to. She followed me, matching my pace.

"NO. Susan, I can't agree with you now. How could you leave me alone at the party, with strangers and with no way to get home? Going to a party does not mean that you always get drunk and dance around like a mad person, and hook up with strange guys... even if it is a guy you have a crush on and imagined kissing, like, a hundred times. Not even if the party is in his house and he is the birthday boy and the most popular..." Before I could complete my rant, or even catch my breath, I realized what I had just told her.

"Wait a second...Please don't tell me that I made out with Josh while I was drunk?" She looked pretty stunned when she heard what I had said. Now, she was even more scared to hear the answer from my mouth, which I did say. I can't lie to my best friend, at least not about something she has done.

"Oh MY GOD! How will I face him today? I am so stupid. Mom always told me never to drink more than two glasses of alcohol, and I didn't listen to her. I should have listened to her. Now see what I have done. If I go to school, people are going to make fun of me and look at me like I am a whore or something. Oh my God. My life is totally destroyed!" She sounded fine at first, but then her voice got draggy, and by the end of her sentence she was in tears.

"Susan, just relax! There is no need to worry about anything. I am pretty sure that even Josh does not remember what he did last night, and with how many girls!" I raised my right eyebrow as I said 'how many.' I had no intention of making her cry.

"What! Are you joking with me? Are you telling me that I am not the only one?" Susan asked and she was so confused. I was ready to tell her everything.

I caught her up with the entire back story until the Josh part came. I then continued, "Yes, I did catch you and Josh making out and I was very surprised, so I left you guys but then I came back again. Josh was making out with a girl, but it wasn't you. It was Betty. The Betty in our class who nobody notices or even cares about. That Betty!" I told her all the details, so she wouldn't be confused.
