The three were walking back to class when Horoki chimed up, "if you survive your fight against Endillion, can you help me with something?" Horoki asked. Lincoln simply laughed, "love how you think she'll be able to even lay a finger on me. So what is it?" Lincoln asked. "So I'm meeting Jiro's parents, but I have no idea what to do." Horoki said. "Wait you're just meeting her parents?" Lincoln asked. "Exactly what I said!" Liam exclaimed. "Well, just don't do anything the parents wouldn't like. Like talk about how bad of an influence you are on her." Lincoln said, placing his hands in his pockets. "Ok so what else?" Horoki asked. "Compliment them. Tell them things that would make them know you're a good person for their girl." Lincoln added. "Or that you worked with criminals." Liam said. "Well gee thanks! I would've brought that up as a good conversation starter!" Horoki sarcastically said. The bell for lunch rang and Lincoln tipped his hat, "good luck boys." Lincoln said as he left the two to go eat lunch.
Horoki and Liam sat down with Jiro, Bakugo, Mina and Kaminari. Kaminari then spoke up, "whoa where did you get those cuts?" Kaminari asked. "Oh, I was training with Aizawa. Should've seen him." Horoki said as he ate his food. "So that's why he has some cuts? I thought it was cause he found a cat that didn't like him." Kaminari said. Jiro then whispered, "do you have an idea of what to say to my parents?" Jiro asked. "I got a few ideas." Horoki said with a smile. "I'm more shocked that the 'big bad Horoki' got beaten by Deku." Bakugo grinned. "I'm sorry Bakugo but did you not see Midorya beat a giant monster?" Horoki asked. "I can beat Midoriya easily." Bakugo scoffed. "Just admit that you're weaker." He added. "I'll admit it when you admit that Midorya is stronger than you in every way." Horoki said, pointing his fork at Bakugo. "You can show tough you both are after Horoki meets with Jiro's parents, I'm pretty sure he's already worried about that." Liam said, then realizing what he said, he covered his mouth. Horoki gave him a death glare and the rest of the table went 'oooooohhhhh' causing Horoki and Jiro to blush like idiots. Bakugo grinned and chuckled, "You're stupid if you think they'll accept a person like you." Bakugo said.
After the school day was over, Horoki and Jiro were walking home, discussing their plans on Horoki meeting Jiro's parents. Aizawa intercepted them. "Horoki. We are going to train today. Meet me at the sparring center in 10 minutes." Aizawa said. Jiro pouted, "you really have to go? What about our date?" She asked. "Yeah, I'm sorry Jiro. I promise I'll make it up to you!" Horoki said, kissing her on the head and running off towards the sparring center. Horoki was there stretching, waiting for his mentor to show up, "You're 5 minutes early." Aizawa said. "Yeah, didn't want to keep you waiting." Horoki said. "If you didn't want to keep me waiting, you would've been here 10 minutes early." Aizawa said crossing his arms. Horoki wanted to argue but sighed in defeat. Aizawa then took some knives out, "now that you have your quirk. You're going to have to relearn how to use it." Aizawa said as he twirled the knives around his fingers. "Wait, I already know how to use it." Horoki said. "Horoki. Your old smoke quirk was at half power. Now that you have only one quirk, your smoke power is stronger than before. You might end up hurting yourself trying to attempt anything you've done before." Aizawa said, "we are gonna do some small tests and figure out what capabilities your new quirk can do." Aizawa added. "Well, there is this move I can do." Horoki said, making a clawed smoke hand. "Hm, you weren't able to do this previously?" Aizawa asked. "Nope." Horoki replied. "Maybe you have more freedom to use your smoke than you did previously. You are using much more smoke than before." Aizawa said, placing a his on his scruffy chin. "Try and go into your smoke form." Aizawa ordered. Horoki went into his smoke form, Aizawa immediately noticed that there was a lot more smoke than in his first variation his smoke form. Aizawa also noticed that there was a human like shape to it. "Very interesting." Aizawa muttered to himself. "Try and attack me." Aizawa said. Horoki then charged at Aizawa using his smoke form. Aizawa felt Horoki's body solidify to tackle him and send him into the air. Aizawa stared at Horoki and stunned his quirk. The two struggled for dominance but Aizawa was much stronger and used Horoki to break his fall. Horoki felt the wind get the air knocked out of him. He tried to gasp for air and started to cough some blood. "I'm a little disappointed you didn't think about covering my eyes. You know I would've disabled your quirk correct?" Aizawa asked. "I just didn't want to hurt your eyes. The smoke would've hurt them pretty bad." Horoki said. "I see. Well, thank you. Next time though, I don't want you to hold back. You must treat me like a villain if you want to see and improve your quirk." Aizawa said, looking down at Horoki was struggling to get up. "I also managed to write some things up that your costume might need now that you only have one quirk." Aizawa added, he then reached into pocket and pulled out a piece of paper with recommendations on Horoki's costume. "Aizawa, think I can add your scarf to my costume?" Horoki asked. "If you want yes." Aizawa said as he walked away. "Training will resume tomorrow after Lincoln's fight." Aizawa said as he waved. "Wait, how do you know about his fight?" Horoki asked. "You think I would miss a chance to see Lincoln get beaten up?" Aizawa asked. Horoki chuckled a bit and then went off to see Endillion.
Endillion was in the Support Room working on her gadget when she heard the door open. "Who is it?" She asked. "Horoki Arashi! Just wanted to see if you can make me something." Horoki said, walking towards her. She got out from the room and was wearing a tank top with some jeans, some black oil smudges on her face. "Hello. How can I help you?" She asked. "I was wondering if you could make me a new costume?" Horoki asked. "Do you have a drawing or anything like that? I usually like to see a drawing so I know exactly what someone would like." She said as she wiped her hands on a rag. Horoki took out his sketchbook and handed it to her. "Oooh! An artist are we?" She said with a smile, turning the pages and pointed to the latest page. "This one?" She asked. Horoki nodded, "yeah! Could you also add a scarf like the one Eraserhead has?" Horoki asked. "Of course. Although it will take a while. Currently I'm working on something." She said as he pointed to the object behind her shoulder. "What is it?" Horoki asked. "Oh a little something to put Colt in his place." She said with a small smirk. "You know, as much I want to see a Lincoln get his ass beat, you really shouldn't have something against him." Horoki said. "His father robbed my father. He's the reason my dad worked every bloody day of his life to restore what he lost.." She growled. "I get that, but look at you. Successful and working at the best school for heroes. Besides, Lincoln is nothing like his dad. He's waaaaay too nice." Horoki said. Endillion looked away and put on her welding mask. "Don't let some bad blood cloud in your judgement." Horoki said as he closed the door behind him. He heard the sound of the welding tool being used and texted Jiro that he was going home.
When Horoki arrived home. Jiro then held up a box of pizza, "table for two?" She asked with a smile. The two ate some pizza and saw Saint walk in, Saint meowed and Horoki gave her some bread and joined the two. Jiro then spoke up, "Horoki, can I be honest with you?" She asked. "Sure babe." Horoki said as he ate his pizza. "Why are you training so hard..?" Jiro asked. Horoki got quiet and gulped. "I uh...I'm training to get stronger." Horoki said. "No shit Sherlock. I'm asking why you're doing this? What is motivating you?" Jiro asked. "You." Horoki said quietly. Jiro felt her cheeks warm up, "why..?" She asked. "After what happened with Toga. I don't want to lose you." Horoki said, looking at her with his soft brown eyes. Jiro felt her eyes lock into his, as if the two could stare into each other's soul. The two then leaned in, both blushing and feeling their breaths brush their faces. Saint meowed loudly, interrupting the two love birds. Saint gave a smug smile as the two coughed awkwardly. "We should get some rest." Jiro said. "When do you think you'll be available so we can meet with my parents?" Jiro asked. "Soon baby. When I find out I have time, we'll go." Horoki said smiling. Jiro nodded and got up, grabbing the box. "I got it, don't worry." Horoki said as he grabbed the box from her. Jiro smiled and kissed his cheek. "Goodnight Horoki, please sleep." Jiro said smiling. "Don't worry baby, I'll go to sleep." Horoki said as he left the room. Horoki went downstairs to throw the box away until he heard the knock on the door, he then opened it and saw Aizawa there. "Ready to train?" Aizawa asked. Horoki smirked and grabbed the bags in his room and ran with Aizawa to train.
