Chapter 63

After Horoki's meeting and taking pictures of M-Don's buildings, he went back to the villain's HQ and was met with a hug from Toga. "Finally! You were gone the whole day!" She pouted. "I had to do reconnaissance. Can't blame me for that." Horoki said. Toga continued to pout and just cuddled him. "Hey Horoki." Puppet Master said, cutting in. "Tomorrow I'm gonna come in and try and see if I can dig some dirt. Since M-Don needs me, I can go through the office since he's got some meeting. Think you can find a way in?" He asked. "I'll go with you. It's a big building. We might miss something." Horoki said. "Nooooooooo" Toga said, holding him. "Don't gooooooooo" she said. "Don't worry, I'll make it up to you. For now, we gotta rest." Horoki said. Toga followed him to his room and the rest went to bed, getting ready for their recon mission.

The Next Day

The group got up and had some breakfast, Twice cooking some breakfast with Puppet Master. "Good morning everyone." He said. He then gave them their pancakes and saw that only Spinner, Sumbo, Compress and Shigaraki. "Where's Toga and Horoki?" Dabi asked. "Probably sleeping. Horoki always sleeps in." Spinner said. Toga eventually came out and rubbed her eyes with a yawn. "Morning sleepy head." Sumbo said. "Where's your Prince Charming?" Compress asked. "He's sleeping. It's annoying that he won't wake up." She said as she sat down. As if it was just perfect timing, Horoki was up and came to the table. "Look who's up." Twice said. They all ate some breakfast and did their own thing, Horoki drew, Toga watched him draw, Puppet Master messed with his little bugs, Dabi went to look for trouble, Sumbo was cleaning his tail and making sure it was in working condition. They were just like a family, doing their own thing. They decided to play Uno, everyone got into a circle and had to explain to Sumbo, Puppet Master, Twice and Compress how to play. "So how do I raise?" Sumbo asked. "This isn't poker, you don't gamble." Dabi said. "Only thing you gamble is your friendship." Horoki said with a laugh. The game started off great but got quickly messy, Horoki throwing his cards, Toga laughing maniacally, Dabi getting cards thrown at him. Sumbo rubbing money all over himself while Twice narrated what was going on. Spinner watched what was going on and was just confused, "I'm taking Uno away. You guys can't handle it." He said. Horoki tackled him, "run it again!! I won't lose!!" Horoki shouted.

Eventually after Horoki failed four more times, he just decided to draw until Puppet Master called him. He went to his room and locked it, giving some time to himself. He then began to draw Jiro, he smiled as he drew her features, her ear jacks, her hair. He continued to just draw to his heart's content. He then heard a knock on the door and closed his journal and put it in a safe. He opened the door and saw Puppet Master tip his hat, "hey there Horoki. You ready to start digging dirt?" He asked. "Of course. Let's go." Horoki said, leaving his room. Sumbo tagged along until Horoki turned around, "hey you're gonna have to stay Sumbo." Horoki said. "Aw come on, let me join ya." Sumbo pleaded. "Not happening. No offense Sumbo, but you sorta stick out, they would find you in a heartbeat." Horoki said. "I'll have to take Horoki's opinion here." Puppet Master said. Sumbo rolled his eyes in annoyance and sat down next to Toga, who also was annoyed that Horoki had to go again. The two decided to watch some TV while they waited at the sidelines.

Puppet Master and Horoki were across the street and saw the building. "I'll go in. Send you any info I can get when I'm at the lab. M-Don will be going to a meeting so you can check his office. Make sure you take the security room first." He said. "You got it." Horoki said. Puppet Master walked into the front and talked to the receptionist while Horoki went to his smoke form and went through the vents. He snuck through and saw a security guard watching the screens. Horoki slipped into the room and held the man in a sleeper hold, he gasped for air and tried to fight but was knocked out. Horoki then went on the screens, disabling them. He then looked for a map. He dug through and found the vent layouts. He took a picture with his phone and put it away. He then went back to the vents and went to M-Don's office. He phased through the vent and saw his computer. "Wow, dude doesn't have a password lock." Horoki said as he fished through some files, he then saw some receipts and saw the names. "Henry Stevenson...I knew it! Liam's dad was in on this!!" Horoki said to himself. He took a cable from his pocket and connected his phone, downloading the receipts. He continued to searched through more files and saw some "missing persons" posters in some files. Horoki muttered to himself and he saved them on his phone. He then saw a file named "Colt missing speech." He opened it and his eyes widened. "No way..." he said to himself, he read the letter.
