Horoki left the room, disoriented, the lights a noises just buzzing around him. Hawks called out for Horoki and he snapped back to reality. "What happened?" Hawks asked. "Sumbo passed." Horoki said, trying to keep a straight face. His eyes were tearing up and his fist clenched, "he had burn marks...there's only one person in the league that can cause that." Horoki said. "Hey don't let it get to you. Dabi wants you to go headfirst and just try to avenge your friend." Hawks said. "How do you know it was Dabi?" Horoki asked, looking up at him. "I'm secretly working with the league, just like you." Hawks said, Horoki was a bit taken back but he realized that him and Hawks are almost identical when it comes to their morals. "You know they won't trust you right off the bat. If what Sumbo said is true, then I doubt they'll welcome you with open arms." Horoki said, "yeah...I didn't think about that. Well, whatever I gotta do, I'll do it." Hawks said. He then received a phone call from Endillion and answered the phone, "hey cutie." He said with a smile. "What? I don't know where he is. Did he not show up for the test?" Hawks asked. He then turned and covered the phone, "you have any idea where Lincoln is?" Hawks asked. "He should be at the school taking the hero test, why?" Horoki asked. "He's not there. I'm gonna go look for him." Hawks said as he walked out of the hospital. "I'll help you. We can cover more ground." Horoki said. "Alright squirt. You take the west-side and I'll take the east-side." Hawks said with a smile. The two left the hospital and split up, Horoki turned into smoke and went into the roof of a building and began to parkour, searching for Lincoln, his mind raced over Sumbo's death. He couldn't believe that he was actually gone, Horoki couldn't help but think that it was his fault that Sumbo was killed. He stopped on the roof and just sat on the ledge, hanging his legs off the roof. He felt his tears come back and he closed them, letting the tears fall from his eyes. "You didn't deserve to die Sumbo...I'm sorry." Horoki muttered. He wiped his tears and sniffed. "No...sitting around and crying won't do shit. I gotta look for Lincoln." Horoki said to himself. With a leap, he turned to smoke and continued to search.

Lincoln opened his eyes and woke up, holding his temples and looked around at his surroundings. "You're awake! How are you?" The priest said as he sat down and brought some water. Lincoln grabbed it and drank it greedily. "Where am I?" He asked. "You're in the Lord's house." He said smiling. "Haven't been to one since I was a kid..." Lincoln said as he held the cloth around his waist. "Where do you think you're going?" The Father asked. "I gotta make a phone call. I was supposed to take a hero test and I didn't even show up because-" Lincoln was cut off as he remembered his fight. "Sumbo..." he muttered. "How did I get here?" Lincoln asked. "One of our sisters said that a man in cowboy garb similar to yours knocked on our doors and dropped you off." The Father said. "Mind if I talk to this nun?" Lincoln asked. The priest left the room and called the nun, who saw Lincoln putting on his tattered clothing. "You asked for me?" She asked. "Padre said you saw someone bring me here, think you can describe him?" He asked. "He was beaten like you. Had glowing green eyes, little fangs. A little scary looking but he carried you to the church and told us to take care of you." She informed. Lincoln stopped and sat down, his conversation with Horoki about villains changing replayed. "Thanks Miss..."

"Grace." The nun answered Lincoln, giving a small smile. She left and the priest came back. "Something wrong?" He asked. "I can ask you anything right?" Lincoln asked. "Of course." He said. "Do...you think villains can change?" Lincoln asked, raising an eyebrow. "Our Father, tells us to forgive our enemies and to help them. Now whether they want to change is up to them." The priest said. "Is that you talking or is that the Almighty?" Lincoln asked. "You look displeased with the answer." The priest said. "I just find it hard to believe that some of the most twisted villains can change." Lincoln said, looking away with a scoff. "Some may not be able to change, and they will have to answer for their sins, but that doesn't mean you can't try and help the misguided. You can be the Shepard that herds the lost sheep." The priest said with a smile. "Maybe...thanks for the talk Padre." Lincoln said, patting his knee and getting up. "You have a silver cross, but you don't seem to go to mass, why is that if you don't mind me asking." The priest asked. "I guess I just never had the time." Lincoln answered with an embarrassed look on his face, "well, He always has time for you if you ever want to visit." The priest said with a nod. Lincoln tipped his hat and went outside to retrieve his guns using his serpent tongue to track his smell on them. Once he grabbed his bike, he received texts from Horoki to meet him at the dorms when he can. He then arrived at the dorms and called Endillion while waiting for Horoki, who was actually searching for him. "Lincoln?! Thank God you're ok! What happened?!" She asked with a worried tone. "I'm fine Endillion. I was side tracked by some villains and it didn't end in my favor, but I'm in one piece." Lincoln said. "So what about the test?" He asked. "Well, they're trying to figure that out. Endeavor fought a bloody strong Nomu and was hospitalized. The higher ups thought you might've gotten tangled up in the drama. So right now you're sort of in a grey area." Endillion said. Lincoln's heart sank. "So you're saying I might've screwed myself up...?" Lincoln said with a worried tone. "Again, you're in a grey area. They will have to discuss your test along with the security of U.A." Endillion said. "Oh uhh, Endillion?" Lincoln said, scratching his head. "Yes?" She asked. "Thanks for the gauntlets. They really helped me out." He said. "I'm glad they helped you out. I'm putting some final touches on your updated costume." Endillion said. "Wait what? You made a costume for me?" Lincoln asked. "I didn't say that. Goodbye." She hung up, she then facepalmed herself and muttered, "idiot! You might've ruined the surprise!" She whispered to herself. She then met with the rest of the group to talk about the Endeavor news.
