She remained in his arms for several hours as she cried out, it was early in the morning already and the sun was beginning to crack up. Serena felt so apologetic towards Harry, he literally drove straight to her and accompanied her even though he needed rest and he could've just slept the night away.

Harry was peppering her with soft kisses as his hand rubbed her back comfortingly, her cries slowly stopped with only a few sniffs here and there can be heard.

"Baby, do you want to talk to me about it?" Harry cooed, rubbing his thumb on her hand to soothe her nerves. Serena tightened her hold around his waist as she began to contemplate on where exactly to start.

She lets out a sigh. "I saw him again." Harry almost instantly stiffened upon hearing those words. "I honestly thought I wouldn't see him again, and if ever I did, this wouldn't happen. I wouldn't be spending a sleepless night, crying my eyes out."

Harry's heart almost broke, it wasn't because Serena was crying for a different man, because he knows that's not the case— but the mere fact that Serena thinks someone is worthy of her tears aggravates him.

He just soothingly caressed her back, keeping his lips tightly shut as he let her talk. "When I saw him, I felt like all the scars, the insecurities and all the ugly things about me showed. I have never felt so unhappy my entire life." She choked on her words, trying to stop herself from crying again.

"Baby..." Harry places his hands on her cheeks and stared directly to her eyes. "It pains me to know that he did that to you, that you're here crying and doubting your amazing self because of him because you are absolutely the most perfect woman I've met my entire life."

"You always tell me to learn to love myself, and I think I could say the same to you. If only there's a way you could see yourself through my eyes, you are beautiful and I'm in love with all of you. He isn't worth your tears, love."

He continued on.

"I don't think he ruined you and destroyed you, I think he made you believe that because love, you're the most ethereal work of art my eyes have ever laid upon."
