one hundred thirteen : "late nights."

Reaching her second trimester was not easy, she had to be put on strict bed-rest and she often cried every midnight because she was getting leg cramps. It was difficult for Harry to see her like that. She was advised not to take painkillers as much as possible, so she had to endure all of the pain she's experiencing.

They even had to have home consultations because it was difficult for Serena to move places, sometimes, Serena cries to Harry about how useless she feels during her pregnancy and every single time, Harry was there to listen and comfort her.

This was something they were willing to do together, they were going to fight through this together, for the babies.

It made the two of them appreciate their mothers, pregnancy was a bliss but it is quite painful at times. They can't believe their mothers went through this many times.

Speaking of mothers, Anne recently visited them after hearing from Harry that Serena has been experiencing a lot of discomfort with her reaching the second trimester, she has been sweet enough to help with cooking and assist Harry in doing chores. Serena couldn't be thankful enough, Anne was the main reason why Harry grew up to be a kind and loving soul.

Today though, was one of the exceptionally long days.

It was just 7 in the evening and Serena swears it feels like a week has passed. She's been enduring leg cramps and dizziness all day, she can barely keep her food down. Her doctor has been telling her to try her best to eat a lot, having twins meant experiencing double the pain during pregnancy.

She just wants to cry, she knows it isn't good for her to stress out but she can't help it.

Harry didn't fail to notice the glum look in Serena's eyes, he's been seeing the shift in Serena's emotions lately, he sighs when he sees her on the bed, seeming to be sleeping soundly.

'Finally.' He thought, he was glad Serena finally had the chance to sleep. This day hasn't been easy on her, and they still have three months left. He's so proud of her for being so strong.

He finishes organizing the clothes he just dried a few moments ago and gently sat beside the sleeping girl. He smiles as he plants a kiss on her hair. "You're doing so well, baby." He chuckles to himself, why is he even talking to her like she could hear him? She's asleep.

He sighs dreamily, staring at her face and placing his hand on her tummy. "You two have been giving your mother a hard time, aren't you? You little troublemakers." He chuckles. "But even so, mommy and I still love you so much. Three months to go and you'll be out here to see the world."

"When you're here, I hope you both know that your mom and I will support you on whatever you wanna be and whatever you wanna do. All that matters is you grow up kind and loving." If Serena was awake, he reckons he'll see her crying again or maybe she'll laugh at him for being sappy, but she's asleep right now so he doesn't have to worry about that.

"I'm a bit nervous about this, you know? If I'll be a good dad to the two of you. Your mom, undoubtedly, would be the best mom you could ever hope for. It just makes me feel a bit worried, I don't want to disappoint you." He sighs deeply. "But I'll try my best, for you two. Good night, kiddos."
