Serena was staying in her apartment, organizing the new clothes and some other stuff she was given by several sponsorship deals she has been partners with for years.
Ever since the movie ended, almost everything changed. Not to be cocky, but she would walk down the street and get recognized by people on the daily, there were more paparazzis than usual and she would receive calls here and there for partnerships and all. While it was good at first, the overwhelming amount of attention she was getting sometimes takes a toll on her.
She carefully places the boxes of shoes she never wore into the back of her closet, she was planning on giving away the clothes she had to charity. She already has everything she needs, she doesn't need thousands of clothes, there are people who need it more than her.
Suddenly, her phone buzzed and the doorbell rang. She glances at the lit-up screen and sees Harry's name on it.
She rushed towards the door excitedly and pulled it open, Harry was all-smiles, holding up the bag of food he ordered from KFC. Serena just wrapped her arms around him and presses his lips on his cheek. "I missed you." She whispers.
Harry felt on top of the moon, he places a soft kiss on her forehead and smiles to himself. "I missed you too, love." The two of them stayed in each other's warmth for a few more minutes before entering inside.
The words 'I miss you' were not enough to sum up how much they craved each other.
Harry carefully set up the food on the table Serena had on the living room while she sat on the couch and stared at him. His curly hair, those green eyes, the tattoos inked on his skin; they were beautiful. He is a work of art.
"It's very rude to stare, doll." He jokingly says, looking back at her with a mischievous smile. Serena just laughs heartily before kissing his lips again. "Thank you for the food, Harry." Harry, of course, responded to the kiss before mumbling. "You're welcome."
Their kisses were so innocent, so pure— they could feel how happy and true their love was.
The two of them sat side by side, Serena had his arms wrapped around Harry while the male cuddled to her. They couldn't even eat properly, they just wanted to see each other and the food was an excuse to do that.
"I'll start touring next week." He begins, his voice was evidently glum than earlier as he announced it. Touring means being away for months, not being able to see the person he loves for countless days; it was very difficult for him to do.
"I know, and I'll be supporting you. I'll be cheering you on no matter how far we are from each other." Serena voices out, her words were sincere; while she felt a bit sad that Harry had to go and work, she knew that he lived and breathed music, she wanted to support that.
Harry smiles at her words and intertwined his fingers with hers.
"You're amazing." He looked directly at her, making Serena slightly blush. "You are amazing." She retorted back.
"Will you at least come to one of my shows?" He asks, his voice sounded so vulnerable, as if he was fearful of hearing the words no. Serena didn't disappoint him though, she grins. "Of course." Harry raises their hands that were entwined with each other and neared it to his face, kissing her hand like so fondly.
"I love you, Serena." He says. "I love you too."
They stayed there for hours, just cuddled up and wishing the night would never end.
