After the announcement, more and more paparazzis became aware of their schedules and where they'll be going for the day. It was a lot more alarming since Serena's pregnant, and Harry can't help but be overprotective, it's his child after all. He wants to keep them as safe as possible.

Especially since he isn't with them from time to time, he's taking care of the paperworks and all that jazz regarding the house he's planning to buy and he made sure that whenever he isn't with Serena in his apartment or hers, he called up a friend to accompany her.

Today it was Niall.

Niall has been wanting to visit them for months, but their schedules just don't seem to work with each other but now that the news of a little Styles was on the way, even though there's still a many months left before Serena gives birth, Niall was more than glad to visit. He is incredibly happy for his friends and excited to meet his soon-to-be nephew or niece. He's sure that this kid would be spoiled rotten by him and the other lads!

He remembers when Bear and Freddie were born, the boys were scouring the entire city to look for gifts and he's certain it's gonna happen to Harry and Serena's child too. How he wishes it's a girl, so that he could play matchmaker with her and the two boys. It's silly, but that's just him looking forward to the kid.

"Need anything? Milk? Waffles? Anything?" Serena laughs slightly and rubs her tummy. "Niall, that's the tenth time you asked me that, I'm fine, I promise." The Irish lad shrugged and sat on the couch next to her. "Just making sure, we can't upset the baby and I can't upset Harry or else, I'm dead."

Serena was watching Dynasty again, but she could barely focus since Niall was starting a conversation. She doesn't mind it though, it was nice talking to him.

He spoke. "Years ago, I would've thought that Harry would be the last to settle down, get married and have kids... now, Zayn and I are the only ones with no kids." His words made Serena smile. "No one piqued your interest yet?" He clears his throat and awkwardly looks away. "So there is someone." She laughs and teasingly grins at the flustered male.

"Oh, shush. You know her." In fact, she didn't. Or maybe she did, but she doesn't know who exactly it is. "No, I don't. Who is it?"

Niall rolls his eyes. "God, you don't even know your best friend?" His sudden revelation made Serena's eyes go wide. "Wait, what?" Her voice raised two octaves higher and Niall got nervous. "Uh... surprise? And geez, calm down. You're pregnant, you know."

"You two are... going out?" Serena wasn't really not in favor of them, it just surprised her since Leah hasn't said a single thing about her and Niall and she didn't know they were talking, besides from the small talks on the comments in Instagram. "No, we're not going out. I haven't even had the courage to tell her what I feel."

Niall never struck her as someone nervous, especially about his feelings. He was always like an open book, it was easy to read his emotions and he knows it, that's why he never even bothers to conceal them. Oh well, you always learn something new.

"You should tell her, Ni." Niall huffs. "And get rejected? Yeah, I don't think so." Serena sighs and stares at her. "Look, my best friend may sound like she could destroy you with one word— well, she could, but I'm sure she feels something about you, and the only way to know if it's mutual is to tell her. Besides, it's also freeing when you tell someone your feelings towards them."

Niall became silent, like he was letting her words sink in and consider it. He really had no plans of telling her prior to this day, because he's almost certain that he's gonna get his ass handed to him with NO scribbled on it with red ink. But he really likes her, he's been talking to her for months!
