"Baby, are you okay?" He asks softly, gently letting himself lay beside Serena on the bed. It was already evening when he arrived back home and he quickly asked Cole to go home, thanking him first at least seven times before the male went home.
He sees Serena on the bed, she looked quite tired and vulnerable as she laid there and it made him worried. This pregnancy was not easy, she's been having more intense morning sickness and she's been having trouble sleeping. She was sick and it kills Harry to know he can't help nor do anything but to hold her close and tell her she'll be fine.
"I'm okay, just a bit tired." That was what she always says, he knows it definitely hurts a lot more than what Serena plays it out to be. He can't help but feel proud about Serena's strength, she has been keeping herself strong the entire time. "Do you want to sleep?" He asks, he hears her sigh. "I can't sleep yet."
He frowns, she must be having difficulties with her sleeping schedule again. He breathes out a sigh as he hugged her back, resting his hands on her tummy as his heart swelled up in joy. "I missed you a lot, you know that?" Serena softly chuckles as she felt her heart slow its pace, feeling so relaxed and safe right inside his arms. "I missed you too."
They stayed there even longer, Harry was placing soft kisses on her neck, it made Serena smile. "I love you, Harry." She says in the middle of the silence inside the room. Harry smiles. "I love you too. You, and them." He says, caressing her bump gently.
Tonight was one of those night. The nights where everything just feels right, like everything was in the right time. Where the only thing that mattered was them, being in each other's arms and talk about how they want to spend the rest of their lives.
"God, I can't wait to marry you." He mutters out honestly, laughter emitting from their lips. "Me too, Harry. Me too." They intertwined their hands with each other. "Excited to be Mrs. Styles, huh?"
Serena rolls her eyes at his cockiness and turns around, slightly wincing from the discomfort but shrugged it off. Their faces were inches away from touching, Harry places his hand on her cheek and placed their foreheads against each other.
"Do you think I'll be good?" She asks suddenly, making Harry a bit taken aback by the question. "Hm?" She asks again. "Do you think I'll be a good mother?"
Harry breathes out, a smile playing on his lips. "You'll be amazing, love. You'll do great, I know it." The sincerity in his voice almost made her tear up, but she held it in when Harry's face showed panic when he realized she was about to cry.
"Oh no, baby, don't cry." He says in between laughs, hugging her closely to him. "I'm sorry, I just can't believe that in a few months, I'll be giving birth. And in a few years, we'll be having two kids crawling around the house." Harry grins, kissing her lips as if to shake her worries away.
"Me too, I can't believe it. I'm so happy, I've never been this happy before. One day, I'll be marrying you in front if an aisle and we'll be a family. And that's all I ever wanted in life."
