Seventeen

Jennie's POV

I was still eating breakfast with Chaeng when I suddenly heard a familiar voice.

"Mommyyyyyyy!" A high pitched voice echoed in the room.

I quickly turned around and I met a pair of beautiful eyes.

My baby Ella.

"Ellaaa!" I quickly hugged as she ran on me.

"I miss you."

I kissed the top of her head.

"I miss you more, mommy." She hugged me tighter.

But wait. Why is she here?

I let go of the hug and there I saw Nayeon with Kai on the back.

"So why are you guys here huh?" I raised an eyebrow at them.

Then, they explained to me how Ella missed me and all.

And also, Nayeon and Kai are a thing now.

When Lisa left, my dad forced me to be with Kai but I never agreed.

Kai used to like me but in the end he gave up. He understood that I would never like him back. 

Since then, we just became good friends.

Then, love bloomed between Nayeon and Kai.

Anyway, they joined us in the table and we talked a lot. It's been a long time since I saw my baby and those two.

Nayeon and Ella went to take more food since I didn't want to stand up. Blame my feet. They still hurt.

So, I just talked to Kai and Chaeng.

Then, suddenly, Chaeng shouted Lisa's name, making me look back.

I saw Lisa, with teary eyes, looking at my side.

Fuck.

I look beside me and I realised that Kai was beside me.

Shit.

She'll misunderstand.

Before I can even call her, she started running away.

Fuck.

Then, I started running, hoping to catch her. But she was too fast.

I searched everywhere but I couldn't find her. She didn't come back to the hotel or even answered any messages or call.

In the end, I went back to the hotel.

I sighed as I lay down on my bed, with Ella on my side.

"Mommy, flowers..." She handed me a boquet of yellow flowers.

New beginning.

I thought as I looked at the flower. I guess this was from Lisa.

Seeing how the flowers was almost gonna wither, I judged that it was from a while ago.

Then, I noticed a letter.

"I hope this time I won't make the same mistake. Daffodils for another beginning. For another chapter of our story. I love you, my love ❤️."

I couldn't help but shed a tear.

"Mommy, what's wrong?" Ella hugged me, worriedly.

Fuck. I miss Lisa.

'Please hurry up and come back, love.' I said in my head.

"I'm fine, baby. Thank you." I hugged Ella back, wiping my tears away. Then, I tucked her to sleep.
